Renewable Energy is practically infinite if it manage properly also it mitigates climate change and foster sustainable development. Renewable energy in the Philippines can support the government’s goal of energy self-sufficiency and sustainability and climate change will lessen. In terms of economic and local development of the Philippines renewable energy can leads to avoided fuel costs, promotes rural and off-grid development, and also savings in health and welfare costs due to less air pollution. The government has taken steps to mitigate the power supply situation by prioritizing the development of the country’s indigenous renewable energy resources.
