Introduction:
Sexual education teaches people that sexuality is a natural, normal, healthy part of life and sexual education is needed in high schools to teach young adults not only the dangers of sex such as unwanted pregnancies or STDs, as well as the many other aspects to sex that aren’t spoken about such as identifying ones sexual preference (gay, straight etc.), relationships, protection, the emotional aspect of it, the maturity required and how sex actually works and not just the sexual organs which is what is usually taught to young adults who are going through adolescence which is a very challenging time for many. Sexual education should clarify the issues involved with the topic and not confuse people. Sexual education is needed everywhere

gay, bisexual, pansexual etc.) and other aspects of human sexual etiquette. In South Africa there is great controversy over the appropriateness of sexual education in high schools. Religion and the many different South African cultures consider sexuality as taboo, something that should not be discussed with children or adolescents. Some cultures declare that a child lives in the parents’ house until they are ready to get married. Even though different South African cultures (i.e. Xhosas) don’t expect a woman to be a virgin before she marries, however parents still keep their daughters away from the opposite sex. Traditionally girls are taught to compose themselves well in such a way so they do not expose themselves and being considered as immodest which makes young males curious and inquisitive to know what it is that is so precious that they have to hide which often leads to rape amongst school children such as in the case of a grade 2 being raped twice in one year by different groups of boys that she attended school with (SABC, 2015). Traditionally, boys are not taught anything about the anatomy of women, thus making those very ignorant to the struggle women face on a daily basis with their bodies which re more complex than the males. Religion, on the other hand, is also very uncompromising when it comes to teaching sexual education in schools, the church more especially insists on absolute abstinence until one is properly and legally married. Like in many African countries, South Africa's sex education does not go beyond AIDS prevention teaching, which people believe that the threat of contracting the STD will delay sexual intercourse until marriage

In Anthem, written by Ayn Rand, is a story about a young boy named Equality 72521 who is different than the others in his society. In today’s modern society, sex education is seen as one of the seven plagues of Egypt. Let’s face reality, kids as young as 10 years old are having sex. According to the public health data, the chlamydia rate among teenagers have sky rocked by 80 per cent in the past two decades. Is this the result of ignorance or the lack of knowledge? In the article “The Sex Ed Revolution: a portrait of the powerful political bloc that’s waging war on Queen’s Park” by Nicholas Hune-Brown, published in Toronto Life magazine on September, 3, 2015 parents are opposed to the new sex education curriculum for various reasons.
Schalet’s finding fit with the interpretive theories of childhood socialization because the U.S. children collectively learn about sex and the culture around them without the insight of their parents being involved. This model is known for children collectively participating in society and also has three dimensions as well: active roles by children, present oriented, and focused on the collective learning experience. An example of this comes from the U.S. parents’ lack of actively informing
On a larger scale, a conservative “think tank” The Carter Center, works in advancing international human rights and ending suffering. A large part of what the members of the Carter Center work for is to improve education including sexual education. The founder of the Carter Center wrote a collection of papers for the Carter Center titled Promoting Positive and Healthy Behaviors in Children and included in this collection, a paper titled A Developmental Strategy for Lifelong Benefit was written by David A. Hamburg, a member of the Carter Center. His paper touched upon the essential requirements for child development and what education providers need to be teaching to guarantee that students have a healthy development. The Carter Center's beliefs that sexual
The lack of sexual education also contributes to young marriage and motherhood rates (Ngo & Leet-Otley, 2011). Hmong parents do not understand sexual education and do not discuss it with their children. In Meschke and Dettmer’s (2013) study on sexual health communication, Hmong daughters inferred that parents believed the talk about sexual health might encourage their daughters to be sexually active. Talking about sex is impolite and embarrassing so Hmong families do not usually have discussions on that topic. However, when they do give out information it is often wrong and exaggerated (Meschke & Dettmer, 2012).
3.2) A social/public issue affecting youth in South Africa, or in any part of the world: Moral, religious and legal attitudes are definite interferences with sexual behavior as well as an ostensible insight of the medical and psychological aspects of homosexuality. This phenomenon is possibly much less destructive of social aspects of our society and culture than is commonly believed, since it is actually more prevalent than is generally acknowledged. Homosexuality is most likely a result of hormonal and undoubtedly social and psychological factors.
Sociological Perspectives Sexuality has three assumptions to it 1. Sexuality of members 2. Institutions of society such as family, religion, 3. What is appropriateness or inappropriateness of sexual behavior with in the cultural it occurs in.
girl with sex toy on the bed I once had a boyfriend break my vibrator by throwing it on the floor and smashing it. He said he hated it, but he was really jealous of it. It could give me an orgasm and he couldn 't, but that 's only because he didn 't listen to me in the bedroom. In short, he blamed my vibrator for his inability to listen.

People ashamed while talking about the sex and don’t want to talk by thinking that what images they would have in their society if they talk openly in this topic or rather they think that talking on this topic will down their prestige in society. Using their views on the accessibility of birth control, Planned Parenthood has been educating teens in schools about being sexually active and the different Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) that students could put themselves at risk for (Who We Are, 2014). Some parents think that is not ethical to bring intercourse to the thoughts of their children when they should be learning more from their core curriculums. On the other hand, teenagers are known to have sex regardless if it is to their parents knowledge or not and the parents find it okay to enlighten the child about this type of
