1. INTRODUCTION
In automotive, steering knuckle is the part which attaches to the suspension components. It is variously called as steering knuckle or upright as well. The wheel and tire assembly attaches to the hub or spindle of the knuckle where the wheel rotates while being held in a stable plane of motion by the knuckle-suspension assembly.
1.1 Background Study
Nowadays, the automobile industry becomes one of the assets for economic development. The automobile industry has grown rapidly since the production of the first car by Henry Ford. Cars have been improved dramatically from year to year in terms of design, safety, technology and also performance. Steering module which related to handling is became a piece of automobile suspension system which related to an exact vehicle stability and position. Steering knuckle is one of the automotive component on car and specifically been used in suspension system. Steering knuckle functions allows the wheels to turn [1]. On cars with conventional suspension frameworks, a steering knuckle includes a spindle and connects the

Because of this, steering knuckle need to have higher strength and stiffness but also must be lighter in weight and also size. In developing power output vehicle, the important goes to how to place the exact weight of linier and angular parts in steering knuckle. The overall performance of steering knuckle is affected by higher inertia force especially during driving which generated by the moving parts in the vehicle. This inertia comes from the uneven forces that act on the steering knuckle which can affect the lifetime and also the performance itself. Besides that, waste on material can also occur due to lack of knowledge and study in stress distribution on steering knuckle [5]. Thus, an investigation on steering knuckle needs to be done In order to prevent any failure which can affect the car
Knurling is now done at the left side of the work piece and the operation is done up to a length of 40mm. Threading is then done to the work piece by an automatic feed shaft . The pitch of the threading is given as 2mm. The threading is done for the right side 30mm. [b] Since the work piece is not in a cylindrical object and is having holes in it, the process is to be done in a milling machine and the drilling machine is also used in manufacturing the given component.

John Krakauer wrote the Devils Thumb as a story but with bits of flashback to add depth to the story. In doing this he explains why he chose to climb the mountain. “Although my plan to climb the Devils Thumb wasn’t fully hatched until the spring of 1977, the mountain had been lurking in the recesses of my mind for about fifteen years ... the occasion was my eight birthday. When it came time to open my presents, my parents announced that they were offering me a choice of gifts: … either escort me to new Seattle World’s Fair to ride the Monorail and see the Space Needle, or give me an introductory taste of mountain climbing…”
ACL Tears and Replacements In the United States there is between 100,000 and 200,000 ACL tears a year (anterior). This number may be more but due to the limited data since if you do tear your ACL you do not have to register nothing so if you don't register that you tore your ACL then the number does not go up. Most ACL injuries come from non contact sports or athletics. Surgery is highly recommended for ACL tears.
The knee joint is one of the strongest and most important joints in the human body. It allows the lower leg to move relative to the thigh while supporting the body’s weight (Taylor, n.d.) as knee joint is one of the major weights bearing joint in the body. Knee joint plays an important role in our daily lives such as walking, running, sitting and standing. It allows physiological movement such as flexion and extension.
Military bearing is the start in which every soldier practices either as enlisted or commissioned in order to have good discipline and ethics throughout a military career. Army regulations and soldiers should live by the creed that a military service member should conduct themselves on a daily basis, on and off duty . Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage are Army core values. To be a dependable Soldier you must show your NCO’s that you can be an adult with time management, meet deadlines, be in the right place at the right time, in the right uniform, and doing the right thing at the right time. Dependability is a major aspect of military bearing.
Finally, I hot glued everything to make sure that it stayed in place. After a few test trials, I concluded that I needed something to keep the axles from moving. I used unfolded paper clips to fix the problem. Once the car was ready to go, I tied a string from the mousetrap hammer to the rear axle of the car.
Currently, passion is one of basic factor for choosing the right jobs. If we don’t have passion for our career, we will waste our time, and destroy our future. According to “The Case for Working with Your Hands” by Matthew B. Crawford, he mentions, “Seeing a motorcycle about to leave my shop under its own power, several days after arriving in the back of a pickup truck, I don’t feel tired even though I have been standing on a concrete floor all day” (371). This essay discusses about the life of Crawford who had a Ph.D. in political philosophy, he worked at a think tank; nevertheless, he gave up this job to open a motorcycle repair shop. Obviously, he can choose to become a philosopher who is intellectual worker, so why he still accepts to work
Steer wrestling is an event involving a Corriente steer weighing at least 450 pounds and a man who most likely weighs less than half that amount. “It’s highly improbable that a man could injure a steer during the steer wrestling event,” said Dr. Doug Corey, a large animal veterinarian from Pendleton, Oregon(as cited in PRCA, 2015). A cowboy who hopes to win at steer wrestling must employ the utter most finesse. Steer wrestling involves careful positioning and leverage to enable the animal to be placed on its side quickly and safely.
Shoulder Dislocation A shoulder dislocation happens when the upper arm bone (humerus) moves out of the shoulder joint. The shoulder joint is the part of the shoulder where the humerus, shoulder blade, and collar bone meet. CAUSES This condition is often caused by: A fall. A hit to the shoulder.
How to Change a Tire Many drivers find themselves in a situation where they have to change the tire of their car due to a tire burst or flat. Ties often become deflated due to the wrong pressure or due to getting in contact with sharp objects such as glass or nails. It is surprising to know that many drivers do not actually know how to change a tire hence left stranded in the middle of the road. Most times they are assisted by others who offer to change the tire for them.
Then I will clarify all the details, realize the whole situation, and arrange the meeting with my administration team to make decision and arrange the press meeting to explain the problem to the public. After that, I will identify the exact problem and attempt to take necessary action to overcome the problem. Moreover, through my administration team I will ask to create an awareness program for give an idea about safety issues of vehicle o the public and gain a positive significant to Toyota in the
Needlestick injuries are injuries due to exposed and improper use of needles or sharps. The ANA in 2010, commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act, which improved protection against these injuries that expose health care workers to potentially deadly blood borne pathogens. These injuries, unfortunately, are still occurring today and far too often. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in March 2000, estimated that approximately 62-88 percent of sharps and needlestick injuries are preventable. Health care workers that handle sharp devices or equipment like scalpels, sutures, needles, phlebotomy devices or blood collection devices are all at risk but nurses are at a very high risk for being exposed to these preventable injuries which exposes them to numerous bloodborne pathogens especially deadly viruses such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV/AIDs.
The spinal cord and nerve roots are preserved by the vertebral body, supports the body and responsible for carrying weight. The disks allow movement in the spine and have a shock absorbing. They separate the vertebrae from each other so they also protect them from the wear and tear. There is an empty space in the spine to permit the nerve roots and spinal cord to pass inside. There are 33 vertebrae and 23 intervertebral disks in normal adult spine.
