Strategic goal is a desired future state. It says what organization should do to achieve the mission and vision.

Strategic Objective
Strategic are the goals that organization want to achieve over a period of time. It is long term plans that affect the entire business growth, image, reputation and market share. In reality, businesses may have several strategic objectives taking place during the same time.

S – Sociological
As early explained, majority of workers are Indian Tamils and Sri Lankan are reluctant to engage into tea sector. Basically, younger generation does not engage in tea plantation sector. Then, women employment is more than the men.
Education level of the labor force in tea sector concerns, it is somewhat lower than other sectors.
Living standards is also low than others.
T – Technological
Technological background of tea industry has not improved considerably during last few years in Sri Lanka. When consider the tea production, highest percentage of the tea production goes to labor wages. And there is no much technology advances find in tea industry. For instance, Sri Lanka still used the laborers for plucking tea while other competitive counties like Kenya use plucking machines more effectively.

There are some local national and globle environmental issues in relate to the tea industry in Sri Lanka. Unpredictable climate changes, heavy rain and storms affect on tea plantation and declining soil quality due to planting tea for a long period of time affect on the quality of
