Strategic are the goals that organization want to achieve over a period of time. It is long term plans that affect the entire business growth, image, reputation and market share. In reality, businesses may have several strategic objectives taking place during the same time.

S – Sociological
As early explained, majority of workers are Indian Tamils and Sri Lankan are reluctant to engage into tea sector. Basically, younger generation does not engage in tea plantation sector. Then, women employment is more than the men.
Education level of the labor force in tea sector concerns, it is somewhat lower than other sectors.
Living standards is also low than others.
T – Technological
Technological background of tea industry has not improved considerably during last few years in Sri Lanka. When consider the tea production, highest percentage of the tea production goes to labor wages. And there is no much technology advances find in tea industry. For instance, Sri Lanka still used the laborers for plucking tea while other competitive counties like Kenya use plucking machines more effectively.

Industrialization had a massive toll on America and Europe. Industrialization is the period of social and economic change that transforms a human group from an agrarian society into an industrial one, involving the extensive re-organization of an economy for the purpose of manufacturing. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because there were many job opportunities, although it was actually a negative thing for society. Industrialization’s negative effects were that the children were forced to work so they could help out their families, air and water pollution, and horrible working/living conditions.
Although many historians believe that there was a negative impact of industrialization and technological changes on American society; however, the positive impact of the two factors overpowers the negative impact on American society economically and socially between the time period of 1900 to 1930. Economically, there were positive impacts on American society due to the industrialization and technological changes that the nation was undergoing. In Theodore Roosevelt’s “The New Nationalism” 1910, he points out that no man in American society can be a good citizen because of the wage he makes that isn't ample enough to cover the bare cost of living, and the hours of labor are too long which doesn't give him energy and time to bear his share
While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because there were many new job opportunities , it was actually a negative thing for society. Industrialization’s negative effects were little or no education, over competition for jobs and child labor laws weren’t enforced. First of all I would like to start off by pointing out that “In the Picture of “an Urban Tenement” you can see that there are kids around the house which is kind of implying that there not in school learning but instead you see them at home with women who which we can imply are their mothers”(document 6).
Document 4 is from a Buddhist priest from a rural area of Japan from which many farm girls were sent to work in the mills around 1900. The priest discusses how the peasants in the rural area were poor and had little to eat, and that girls who went to work in the factories were the peasants’ only salvation because of the wages they received. This further emphasizes that the majority of women during this time were factory workers. Document 7 is a table based on data from a dissertation called “Industrialization and the Status of Women in Japan,” written in 1973. According to this table, from 1909 to 1934 there was a slight decrease in the percentage of female cotton textile laborers in India, and only around one-fifth of all women worked in cotton textile factories.
From 1865 to 1900, the rise of Industrial America occurred. In this time period, the railroad system was developed, new job opportunities sprung up left and right, and the American dream changed. Although the American society’s economy and standard of living seemed to prosper, it also allowed laborers’ lives to crumble,strikes occurred, children were left uneducated and forced to work in order to help support their families, and forced those families to get accustomed to squalid living conditions and hazardous working environments.
