My visions and goals have always been blurry to me when asked, what do you want to do in life? I never had a definite answer. I’m good at a lot of things but can’t see myself making a career out of any of them. I’m decent at doing hair, but I don’t have the patience to do one style after the next. I like cooking but I have a select taste. I thought about being a psychologist because I’ve always been so fascinated by how the mind behaves, but doubted my ability. I had no idea what I wanted to do, I didn’t know what I was capable of. I now believe it is possible for me to have more than one vision and multiple goals, there's so much I would like to do in this lifetime. I believe it is all possible, about a year ago I realized it being creative …show more content…
I am even instilling these principles and values into my daughter's life. I bought her a mirror for her birthday and I told her every morning when she wakes up to thank God and say to herself I am beautiful, I'm intelligent, I matter, and today will be a good day. She's a smart 6 year old but I don't think she understands her purpose of doing this every morning but soon she will and she will grow to be a strong, independent woman who knows she's loved valued and always supported. I do believe this process work, speaking affirmations over your life. You go by what you know so if you know you're going to get that job, if you know you're smart, if you know today is going to be a good day, then your brain will go based off what it knows. Ephesians 3:20 says, now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. To me the scripture means God has given each of us the ability to believe and based off what we believe is for us. Speaking things into existence, it’s just like having a conversation with God, you're basically asking him for what you need manifesting these things into your life. If you believe it you shall achieve it, but nothing comes without faith and hard work. A man who doesn't fish doesn't eat, I truly do believe we have powers beyond
The American Dream We as teenagers are preparing for college. College is going to help prepare us for adulthood and the beginning of our lives as an individual. We have to start thinking about what we want to do as a career. While thinking about college we are also thinking about the future, we are thinking about our American Dream.

You have talent and intelligence and a chance. I think you should take those goals and expand them. Think of the most you could do with your lives. Make what you do matter. Above all, dream big, (Bernstein
“What do you want to do when you become older?” That is a question many of us were asked when we were extremely young. As we grew up we continued to be asked the same question whether it was by a family member or a friend. The bold among us likely conjured up occupations a far cry from the typical nine-to-five grind; only to learn later in life that job opportunities like being a veterinarian would be hard to come by. At first, I thought that question would have been a lot easier to answer, until I had to start preparing for my college applications.
At 21 year old, I identify as a Black African-American female in the lower income tier of Gainesville Florida. Due to my beliefs in a divine God and Jesus Christ, I am a Christian. All my life, I have been told by many to be proud of the skin that I was in because my ancestors and people like us were brave and courageous people who fought for what we as Black African Americans have now such as freedom. To understand how deep my lesson of wearing my skin proud, I have to make it known that I am Haitian, and as a little girl, I knew of Haiti’s history, of my ancestors’ fight for freedom, of the pride I should take in knowing that such people were part of our past. Than coming to the U.S, it was a different set of people that fought for freedom,
Sara Parlagreco Heidii McMichael English 7 Word Count: 1799 "Momma always says there's an awful lot you could tell about a person by their shoes. Where they're going. Where they've been" (Forrest Gump). This quote has never been truer for me as it has in the past year and a half. I have spent a good portion of the last year and a half in only one shoe, while my other "shoe" was actually a walking boot.
(Audrey Hepburn) My current goals are to finish high school and to go to college. My 5 year goal is to graduate college and find a job that I like. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” (Confucius)
It is all she has. In practice, it can be harder to maintain faith and leave your worries in God’s hands as life provides reasons not
I am a musically talented, engineer minded, futuristic, optimistic, kind, hard-working, individual. I know I can do anything I set my mind to. Right now, I have my mind set to going to college and having a great successful career.
In the future I want to be successful not only for myself, but also for my parents and friends to be proud of me. I want to end up being successful with an amazing career, and not end up struggling without the ability
Considering your lifetime goals, discuss how your current and future academic and extra-curricular activities might help you achieve your goals. My lifetime goal is to travel the world and study how different cultures influence the business of fashion. I believe through exploring varying cultures and exchanges, I will be an asset to stores, magazines, or film productions. As excited as I am to see the beauty, learn about the history and study the design, I am really eager to learn how to run a successful business.
My personal mission in life is to never give up, never give in, think outside the box, and to be myself. My personal motto in life is that faith, hope, and love are the three greatest gifts in life where love is the most powerful of all. With that in mind, I see myself living life to the fullest. Do you have any ideas about what your career might be? If so, identify them.
Funny how cliché it is for your parents to tell you as a kid, “When you grow up you 're going to be a successful Doctor or Lawyer”. My parents definitely told me that, but I paid no mind. I actually didn 't like the idea. Maybe one of the reasons was that my mother dressed me up in scrubs in the sixth grade and everyone made fun of me. Although, as time progressed and I got older I started thinking maybe a career in the medical field could be for me.
From stair-climbing wheelchair to prosthetic mind-controlled limbs - the rate of innovative products developed for the less fortunate people in the society is increasing. My long-term goal is to inspire the next generation of researchers to develop computational methods and optimization techniques that would help in creating products to aid differently abled people. I believe that making small changes to the design conceptualization methods will have a great impact on the efficient design of products. I believe that choosing a career as a professor will be a cardinal step towards reaching my long-term goal. Being a professor is the best platform for developing knowledge on computational design by doing what I'm truly excited, namely, learning
My short term plans are to graduate from WCTC with a GPA of 3.60 or above. This increases my chances of transferring into MIAD or Carroll University. The long term goal is to grow my skills and never stop learning. I hope to one day work at a place that allows me to work on my own projects and encourages me to further expand my field of expertise. Another possibility is to one day pass my knowledge on to others.
