The value placed on winning when it comes to sports has increased throughout the years. The ferocious amount of excessive training – as well as the enlarged amount of money being spent in athletics has proven to emphasize the winning mentality instilled in adolescents. The adolescents are exploited due to their potential by sacrificing their well-beings in order to be equal to “the guys in the NFL” (Cole & Paidoussi). This is a clear sign of a weakened cardiovascular system. In order to improve heart health, cardiovascular endurance must be developed. Muscles weaken due to illness, injury, poor nutrition and this is measured through muscular endurance which is “…your muscles’ ability to resist fatigue” (Brown, 2016). In contrast, powerlifter’s are hardly concerned with tracking their macros and eating clean due to the fact that they are not concerned with their body appearance as their main goal. In addition to diet there are various supplements that are implemented in a bodybuilder’s daily life such as a protein powder and Creatine. These two supplements can be found in a majority of bodybuilder’s nutrition plans.
