WTO
WTO is an acronym for World Trade Organization . There are number of tasks performed by the world trade organization . It administers trade openings , provides forum for governments to negotiate trade agreements and settle disputes among them . It operates a system of trade rules . Main purpose of World Trade Organization is to provide forum for member governments to sought solutions for the problems they face in trading with each other .
Foundation
The world trade organization came in to existence as a consequence of negotiations and everything that World trade organization performs is the result of Negotiations . The secretariat employs about 600 number of people in their staff . Its staff consist of lawyers , economists , statisticians and communication experts . All the staff make sure that the negotiation among member government commence smoothly while keeping the rules and regulations of international trades intact .

Trade Negotiations
The World Trade Organization include goods , service and intellectual property rights . They express the principles of liberalization and the permitted exceptions . They include member governments commitments to lower custom tariffs and other trade barriers and to open and keep open services markets . They devise procedures for settling disputes . These agreements are not static , they can be renegotiated and amendments can be made and added to the package . Many amendments are being negotiated under the Doha Development Agenda , launched by WTO trade minister in DOHA , QATAR , in November 2001 .

Countries bring disputes to the WTO in they believe their rights are being breached . Judgments by specially appointed independent experts are based on interpretations of the agreements and individual country commitments .

Building Trade Capacity
WTO contains special provisions for developing countries , including longer time periods to implement agreements and commitments , measures to increase their trade opportunities and support to help them build their trade capacity , to settle quarrels and implement technical standards. The WTO organizes hundred of cooperation mission to developing countries on annual basis . It also offer various courses in Geneva each year for government officials . Objective of Aid for trade is to help developing countries to develop skills and infrastructure crucial to expansion of trade .
The WTO maintains regular dialogue with NGO , Parliamentarians , media and general public on various aspects of WTO and ongoing Doha negotiation with the objective of spreading awareness of WTO
