After a great deal of thought, I feel like now is the time to start becoming that change I wish to see, and I hope to start here at Colorado State University. After I graduated high school, I remained in constant work. I was a waitress at Denny’s while I attended school, and had continued doing that for a year after graduation. With that being said, I have a couple of professional goals, and quite a few personal goals. One of my professional goals is to become a Certified Public Accountant. For almost two years now, I have been doing extensive research on the career. I also have been doing a lot of thinking about purchasing a home. I am tired of paying rent, and it would be much nicer putting my hard-earned income into a place I can actually call my own. Lastly, I’ve been dating the man of my dreams for the past year and a half, and I have high hopes on expanding my family. However, I would like to make sure majority of my goals are met before we take that step. That is why getting my degree is extremely important to me. Being able to fulfill my dream of becoming an accountant would put me in a better position mentally and financially. It would give me peace of mind
