While Bird was at Indiana State he led the sycamores to an NCAA championship game against hi s long time rival Magic Johnson.Sadly Larry bird lost that game to Magic,but prior that year Bird left to enter the NBA draft.Bird left college with the USBWA College player of the year award ,also the Naismith award and the wooden award,and was also played the 5th all time college scoring in the NCAA. It all started in New Orleans, Louisiana. The New Orleans Jazz basketball team was founded in 1974. The team then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and became the Utah Jazz in 1979. The teams was fortunate enough to draft two hall of fame players. The first was John Stockton in 1984. John Stockton is considered to be one of the greatest guards to play the game of basketball. He holds an all time NBA career record for assists which is 15,806. He also holds the NBA career record for total steals at 3265. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009 along with Michael Jordan and others. John Stockton played for the Utah Jazz his entire NBA career and helped lead the Jazz to two NBA championship appearances and two Western conference titles.

The bucks went 27-55 and didn’t even make a run at making the playoffs in the season before, after they got Ferdinand they improved to 56-26 and made it to the division finals before losing to the knicks. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was one of the famous basketball player in the late 1900’s. He was born on April 16, 1947 I New-York. His Former name was Ferdinand Lew Alcindor. He Grew Up in Harlem New York. He Was also the only child. He was named after his father Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor Sr. He is very active young man during school. He did a couple sports including baseball, ice skating and swimming. As you see he is a very active person. The Main Sport he was focused on and also was very passionate about was basketball. This is where all history starts. Could You Believe he was about 7’2. No wonder why he was such a Good basketball player.

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors are two prestigious franchises. How would both these teams face off in today 's game? The 2000-2001 Lakers and the 2015-2016 Warriors. Both teams from different eras and a different style of game. The Warriors play an up-tempo basketball game and the 2001 Lakers played more of a slow tempo give the ball to the post type of game. Both teams had quite a few all stars on their roster the Warriors had 3 stars on the team and the Lakers had 2 stars. They both had role players that played a key role in their teams. One team averaged almost 105 points per game and the other team averaged 104 points.
