Many students that know uniforms will be beneficially, but don’t agree with school uniforms will continue to disagree with implementing them. It can be easily agreed that school uniforms may take away their self-expression in school, but what matters more in school is the way of learning. It can also be agreed that many students do not accept the self-expression of their classmates and make fun of them. Students, parents, and school administration should be able to recognize the benefits that school uniforms come with. In conclusion, school uniforms are a great thing to have in schools.
Requiring every student to dress the same can help to make everyone equal and therefore cut down on feeling superior to one another. On the other hand, you have to consider that bullying happens everywhere and most likely will still continue to exist in a school with uniforms, although it may help to decrease it a significant amount. Bullying is a serious issue, but the school board has to figure out if uniforms will help or hurt their cause. As far as hurting, I am not sure what damage it could do to the bullying cause but I am sure there is some. Now that I consider it, it would make those less fortunate easier to discover.
The second thing is that school uniforms look bad. Schools uniforms are almost always one color. Kids do not like them because they want to be creative of how they dress. School uniforms could also make you get a bad name because they are ugly. That is another reason why school uniforms should never become a law. The first way school uniforms could have a positive affect is on a field trip you could find them easier.
In conclusion, the debate over uniforms in public schools encompasses many larger issues than simply what children should wear to school on a daily basis. It also touches on issues such as freedom of expression and cultural wars. There are many critics of school uniform, but they are usually seen to be fighting many lost battles in schools. Selecting the child’s attire on behalf of him is like making decisions on behalf of him, which means that it is limiting the child’s self-expression; and this results in having a grown up who’s not able to make his own decisions. Moreover, school uniforms are not appealing and may not suit everyone, which is the reason why students start comparing themselves to others and loathing their appearances which leads to self-image issues. Some believe that school uniforms are a form of forcing control over students, as well as making them look and work as a unit. However, forcing a particular attire on students does not mean that they will not disobey rules, because children will keep trying to express and show their identity through their appearance, they also will compare themselves to others and envy others for not looking as good as they do, which leads to hatred and
If students are bound to cheat and the honor code is not being enforced or is not fair, why have it? The environment in many schools impacts how students view the honor code. A school with a cheater mentality and an overall acceptance of cheating and plagiarism will have no use for an honor code, since they will not follow it. However, change the environment of the type of students and an honor code can now become beneficial and essential (Jennifer and

Despite the fact that uniforms do not put a complete stop to bullying within students, they do help in reducing it. Yes, there may have been a decrease in bullying the same time that uniforms were implemented, however there might have been a different cause. The decrease in bullying most likely was caused by schools also enforcing the rules much stricter once they got the uniforms. In addition, the teachers have learned about the risks of bullying, consequently enforcing the anti-bully rules to prevent bullying.

I believe the enforcement of uniforms would create a positive learning environment, improve the safety of students, and promote, equality, dignity, and responsibility. Those who are against a uniform policy may argue that some students would purposely disobey the policy to get call out of class, that academic achievement should be the primary focus instead of a uniform policy, and that uniforms decrease individuality. A uniform policy improves the safety of students by reducing bullying, preventing females from being targeted sexually, and prohibiting clothing that suggest violence or gangs.
