This episode was about a man named Joshua who was very successful and pretty much had life figured out. He had a six-figure salary managing 14 different convenience stores. He also had a beautiful home, wife, and kids by the age of 21. But Joshua was overweight and at age 27 he decided to have gastric bypass surgery to help him with his weight loss. After the surgery, he wasn 't losing weight as quick as he wanted and he had back issues which prevented him from exercising. He was prescribed pain pills and started to abuse them, leading to extraordinary addiction to hand sanitizer. His addiction to hand sanitizer has severely impacted his life and caused him to start drinking as well.

A work environment requires more consideration for those around you and how your actions impact their health and wellbeing. It is astonishing to realise how quickly germs can spread through basic hygiene neglect. Poor hygiene can contribute towards many health-related problems. We have already explored how infection control can reduce these risks but it is always worth reminding yourself of these.
Unsafe work practice that can affect the well-being of individuals include: Rough handling, for example pushing, pulling, dragging. Unsafe administration of medication, for example, failure to check dosage. Ignoring health needs and social needs such as clean clothing and personal hygiene. Visible injuries or marks of abuse on body and complaints not taken seriously can put them at more danger, harm and risk of abuse. I will ensure that I keep to all the procedures for checking for abuse and the wellbeing of the individuals that I work with; by following these and the individual’s care plan I keep within the minimum standards of care and also work in a person centred way to make sure all individuals are happy and safe.

Abandonment and Identity in Housekeeping The setting of Housekeeping begins in Fingerbone, Idaho, where the narrator, Ruthie, and her younger sister, Lucille, resides. Although Ruthie and Lucille are sisters, they went through many heartbreaking events that made them view the world differently. Thus, because of their indifferences, they isolated from each other. Throughout the novel, Ruthie and Lucille never had a concrete parental figure to look up too, thus leading them to have a sense of abandonment.
