The goal of this assignment is to consider the users’ cognitive issues in the Infant app. Also, it helps me to get practice in considering how to add functional within my tool to assistance social interaction in order to understand the users for this app. The cognitive process will be included in the Infant Daily Report App as the following:

Attention: Parents are always busy with multitasks every day; therefore, they have low attention ability to the technology. Thus, I will crate a good design to attract the users’ attention in this app. To be specific, I will crate a bright color on the flyer in this app to attract the users’ attention. Also, I will categorize the options to be clearly organized for the users by designing different themes colors to help the users to be better recognition. Memory Since parents have limited to memorized the things due to their heavy workload, they might be confused about what must be made for their kids in this app. Therefore, I would fix this problem by reminding them what they need to. For example, this app will have alarms, such as baby crying sound to inform the parents that the kids must to be fed. Moreover, this app will have a calendar preview to help the users to reminder some duties. Furthermore, I will design an effective and an easy menu for the users to easy select and use.

Decision Making Some parents have decision-making problem. Thus, I will help the users to improve their decision making while they using this app. For example, I will crate an option that called ”help” or app support to help the users for decision-making. Also, this app will allow the users to have a discussion with other users to ask question, suggestion, and advise for better decision-making.
