Immunization has become a vital means in preventative care against infectious diseases. What they do is to protect both the vaccinated person as well as the community (McInnes and Schett, 2007). The first vaccine ever made in history was introduced by Jenner back in the 18th century where he introduced a vaccine against smallpox. During that time, the scientist could never expect that the disease could be eliminated through vaccine (Koteli, 2006). Although the effectiveness of vaccination program has been success in preventing infectious diseases, there are still parents who find it difficult to adhere to this program. It showed that females are more interested in answering the survey. The reason for this maybe mothers are more concern or aware towards immunization compared to fathers. As reported by Yousif, Albarraq, Abdallah and Elbur (2013) and Awadh et al. (2014, Pediatrics), mothers are usually the ones that accompany their children to immunization visits indicating that child immunization is mainly under the mother’s responsibility. Other than that, UniKL-RCMP staff mostly consist of female employee. We were only able to get a vast majority of Malays respondents and only few Indians. Therefore, most of the respondents are Muslims, very few Hindus and no Chinese respondents.

Respondents’ knowledge, attitude and practice on the importance of the infant immunization
Knowledge
There is significant difference in respondents’ knowledge on infant immunization (p = 0.000). Therefore, overall of targeted respondents showed good level of knowledge which is 67.7%.
