Indeed, nine months of bearing a child is a “not-so-easy thing” especially for the mother. Most especially when one of the couple are infertile. Or both of them are just infertile. What is infertility? Infertility, as defined, it is the biological inability of an individual to contribute to conception, or to a female who cannot carry a pregnancy to the extent of a full term. Again, infertility, one word that could eventually ruin their marriage lives. Not really to ruin their marriage, but to the extent that they cannot have a baby in a natural process, just like other couples do. Because we know that in general, most of the couple wants to have a baby in just the natural way. Plus it is not-that-so-expensive compared to the unusual way. But because of our advanced technology nowadays doctors, specialists, scientists and experts found another way to conceive a child, in an artificial way. Of course not in the natural way. Some people are calling this, the test tube baby. But in fact that is what you call, the IVF or the in vitro fertilization. Are you familiar with it? The IVF? I guess so. But then if you’re not familiar with this let this paper speak to you. You will gain your knowledge here about
Abortion has been performed for a long time. It was legal in the United States from the beginning it was created/founded. “At the time the Constitution was adopted, abortions were openly advertised and commonly performed. ”(History of Abortion) But in the mid-to-late 1800s some states began passing laws that made abortion illegal.
The pro-choice/pro-life is a major argument in politics in the United States today. However it is not so simple as pro-choice and pro-life. Pro-choice has been coined to mean that women should have the right to choose abortion and it should be a legal option. Pro-life has been connected with the banning of abortion and looking at a fetus as a life so abortion is basically murder. However this pro-life view has gotten very convoluted.
For a woman to achieve this she would need to use contraceptives for around three decades (“Contraceptive Use in the United States.”). Even with the technology that has come about recently that gives women the ability to track ovulation, medical birth control is still needed. About 61 million women in the U.S are at the age for child bearing, but about 43 million of these women are at risk for unwanted pregnancy (“Contraceptive Use in the United States.”). This means that either they do not have the means to purchase birth control, their religious beliefs restrict them from acquiring contraceptives, or a multitude of other various reasons. Couples who do not use any form of contraceptives have about an eighty-five percent chance of becoming pregnant in a year.
Endometriosis While other women may have it easy to get impregnated or are making the decision to terminate their pregnancy, there are other women who are not able to have their own children. Some women decide to terminate their pregnancy based on social stigma or abusive situations. There are others who die trying to have a normal sex life and become pregnant. One of the most painful and dreadful moments is knowing that you cannot conceive a “seed” of your own. A common condition known in gynecology is endometriosis.
Pro-Choice “77% of Anti-Abortion Leaders are men, 100% of them will never be pregnant” (Barbara Kruger). Whether to continue or end a pregnancy, has been a long debated topic, extending long after the Roe v. Wade case that went all the way to the Supreme court (ProCon). Abortion is defined as the intentional termination of a pregnancy, frequently performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy (Oxford University Press). Each year, over one million women in America chose to have an abortion (WebMD). What would happen if that right to choose was taken away?
Doris Gudino Professor Chounlamountry Political Science 1 27 July 2015 Pro-Choice Anyone? A woman has, undoubtedly, the freedom to procreate, but once a woman chooses to retreat from that freedom, a commotion arises. Abortion is a woman’s choice for many reasons. It’s her body, therefore, no one else can decide for said person.
Abortion Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by abolishing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. Abortion is a very controversial topic, for example, one side of this topic believes abortion is cruel and committing murder, while the other side believes that since the fetus or embryo isn 't developed enough to be considered a living human being yet, that abortion is not commiting murder. Despite this information, there is a lot more to abortion than the opinion of it being “right” or “wrong”. According to “Students for life” who are pro life, about 1 million abortions are executed each year in the US. That data adds up to 22% of pregnancies ending in abortion.
The conflict over abortion in America has been a major social problem in our nation for decades. During the 1960 's and 70 's with the coinciding civil rights movement and women’s rights movement, abortion became the new national issue that we still see today between two opposing ideologies, grouped into sides coined as pro-life and pro-choice. It is one of the biggest debates over whose morals and beliefs are adequate for our society that make the abortion issue such a controversial and divisive one. Each side believes that their views and beliefs are what we are a society should follow and belief.
But remember that every woman has the potential to create twenty-five potential human beings in her lifetime. The idea that any woman who becomes pregnant as a result of non-procreative sexual intercourse must continue with her pregnancy does not take into consideration the fact that there is a tremendous discrepancy between the enormous potential of human fertility and the real-life ability of women and couples to provide

There are numerous of reasonings, such as being too old to be pregnant, damage to the Fallopian tube or uterus and cancer radiation or chemotherapy.
