Nowadays, youths uses social media to communicate with friends and search for information. Youths are constantly searching for information on the internet. Books are no longer the first go-to tools to search for trivial questions. Consequently, advertising on the internet will provide youths with more information about the brand and the product itself. Since advertising on the internet is less costly or even no cost at all, companies are able to better inform youths. However, communicating and searching for information is not the online activities that youths do on the internet. Internet is slowly replacing the use of a television due to online video viewing platforms such as YouTube, etc, and applications that can provide real-time news update on their smartphones. Internet advertising also allows the company to reach out to youths who are in different parts of the world since with the help of internet, youths are able to have access to advertisement that are not shown on the television. The difference between recall and recognition test is that recall refers to if the consumer is able to reproduce the advertisement in their minds; whereas recognition refers to if the consumer has the memory of seeing the advertisement
