Internet is a very wide net filled with data that anyone can access. It has become a widely used technology in the recent years. Individuals can work on internet, play; watch movies and songs, texting, and chatting. It can be used by people with little knowledge and it doesn’t require a specific age to use it. Now the question drowns here. Is it safe for everyone in any age to use it? Moreover, does internet harm children in one or another way? Before answering all these questions, the majority of children population started to use internet, and the number of these kids increase daily. More than 90% of children in United States tend to have online record. The influence of internet may affect children psychologically, socially, but it also increases their knowledge.

Some teenagers use the Internet to avoid their problems. Once they do not have the Internet, something bad might happen to them. Since they are using it to hide and avoid the problems that is why there is a bad outcome once there is no Internet. There is also cyber bullying and misuse of Internet. These problems might even make problems worse.
The growth of technology is constantly increasing everyday as people always find a way to either improve upon it or make something new out of it. Technology has been incorporated into almost everyone’s lives; whether it is from work, school, and even for their own entertainment. Almost anyone cannot go a day without seeing some sort of glowing screen; especially children. When children use social media it causes controversy. Parents have mixed feelings on letting their children have social media accounts because it could either be used correctly or not. Children should not be allowed to have Social media accounts because social media has very mature content and it only persuades children to think wrong things are right and young children under 13 are not ready to see that. There are many different reasons why children should not have social media, for example Cyber bulling. Cyber bulling is a major problem with kids because they take everything so personal.
Some people say that social media is dangerous for kids because it changes their behaviors and more importantly it affects their learning for school. It is dangerous because, they never know who they are chatting with online. Social media changes children 's behaviors because they do unhealthy things that are intended for people over 18 years of age. It also affects their education in a bad way by using abbreviations or slang that threatens their skills in writing. However, others say that social media is beneficial for kids because researchers see them expressing themselves on it.
