This really sets the tone for the rest of the novel, including leading up to Rex’s diagnosis of tuberculosis. He was always pleased in living a life such as the homeless. Rex eventually died of a heart attack. The reason I find this the most important contributions to forgiveness is because her father was one of her best friends. She always believed in him when he ceased to believe in himself.
In the words of Jessie Owens, “We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.” Reb Saunders, Mr. Galanter, and Mr. Malter live that out extremely effectively. Reb Saunders exhibits dedication in a couple ways throughout the book. Clearly, Reb has displayed that he loves his family very much. He cares especially about his eldest son Danny.

Not here in town” (Watson 101). Along with protecting the citizens of Bentrock, Wesley also protects Frank’s reputation and dignity when he does not take him to the public jail, where everyone would know what he has done. Finally, Wesley helps people when he moves away from Bentrock, Montana and follows his dream of becoming a lawyer. In this single action, he helps David, his son, get away from his grandfather who is a bad influence. In addition, he helps his marriage because his wife has always wanted to move away.
Matt is the character I the story that is very curious and wants to see what will happen if he does this or that. Matt is caring and he shows this when he apologizes to Kira for not being able to save memorable things from her house fire. Matt also shows that he is very caring when he was sad for Kira's loss and tried to do everything to help or make her feel better. I would recognize Matt as a cancer sign because he shows much care and the cancer sign describes, well caring for family or friends. He says sorrowfully, " I tried to save stuff but it's mostly all burnt."
But I do it because I don’t want to see you get hurt. Do you understand?”(137.86) Every parent has moments where at times they lose their anger. But While his father says that Christopher only says “ I don’t know”. His father clothes him, feeds him and provides shelter for him and that was all Christopher could come up with. My brother has always been my biggest inspiration because seeing what he can do and seeing what he has accomplished has always made me strive for excellence and to do the best that I can. David Leonhardt’s story about Malcolm Gladwell explains on grasping the moment and embracing opportunity, “It’s not the brightest that succeeds, nor is success simply the sum of the decisions and efforts we make on our own behalf. It is, rather, a gift. Outliers are those who have been given opportunities-and who have had the strength and presence of mind to seize them.” (Leonhardt 579). My brother always enters the realm of my thoughts every time I read this quote.
My family has been my greatest influence from the beginning. They have always encouraged me to do my best and strive for the best, they have always supported my positive decisions, and they have always helped me when I’ve been in trouble. My family has been there for me and each other through thick and thin, and I really love them. Their advice, support, and encouragement have incited me to endeavour for the highest possible achievements. My family is my major influence as they have affected my life from the very start of my life in everything I do.
Father! Wake up, they’re going to throw you out the side!” (pg 99) shows the reader that midway through the story Elie still really cared about his father and did not want him to die. He still had hope that his dad could survive. However, this quote at the end of the story, “I no longer thought of my father,” (pg 113) showed that he lost all hope and only thought about himself and his own health due to the circumstances. Also, Elie was not the only son going through
To me he should of not died. JFK is unjustified he done so many good things for being a president like the Peace corps, Doing what he had to do for the united states, He was helping the poor, and donating to charity. So when John F. Kennedy’s salary came he donated all of it to charity because his family didn 't need it or neither
Wes Moore. The guy that had a lot of obstacles through his life that got him where he is today, but he didn’t do it alone. Just like anyone you need to have a positive influence on your life. It could be anyone teacher, boss, parent, friend. Anyone that drives you to want to succeed and for Wes that was his mother, Joy.
You can tell because he expanded what he did to make money for his children his wife and family, he also had to take care of his mother and siblings for a while when his father died. I believe he had to be brave to spy on the British fight in the war be part of the Sons of Liberty warn that the British were coming he also had to believe in his country to do those things. When he was nineteen his father died, and since he was the oldest son he had to support his mother and siblings and he started a family of his own so that shows he is hardworking and cared. I can tell he was dedicated to his work because he became an astonishing craftsman and he expanded worked hard and became great. When he got involved in patriot groups it shows he was a true patriot.
My grandpa has had such a significant impact on my life, nobody can compare to him when it comes to working hard, loving fully, and being a cowboy, C: Free write: When you think of that one person that has so profoundly affected your life in a positive way, who do you think of?
