The reason for this is due to the attributions to the necessity of stability and certainty for the highly structured business to operate. However, the change management (CM) also related to the organizational change. The organization change is referring to the activities that interact within a competitive environment in order to achieve the organizational goals and the strategic objectives. Besides, the change is able to make only by the individual needs in terms of:
• The awareness to make the need for change
• The desire to participate and support all the change made
• Have a knowledge on how to make a change
• Have an ability to enhance a required skills and behaviours to make change
• The reinforcement in order to sustain the change
Consequently, while the ADKAR describes on the successful change on the individuals, when the organization has undertaken the change, it only happens on the employees who do their jobs differently according to the ADKAR compared to others who are not. However, ADKAR itself has becoming a tool for:
• Planning change in management activities
• Diagnosing the gaps
• Developing corrective actions
• Supporting managers and supervisors
