On November 6, 2012, Barack Obama was re-elected to serve a second term as the President of the United States. Obama won the popular vote by 65,899,660 and had 332 electoral votes. Obama had to beat history to become 2 term president. No president since the great depression had won reelection with unemployment above 7.2 percent. Even though Obama face high unemployment and slow economic growth he still managed to pull out another victory over his challenger, Mitt Romney. I think Obama pulled out his victory because first, how he looks, next how professionally he dressed, and how strongly he gave his addresses. How Obama looks compared to other Presidents is a huge stepping stone for America, Obama is the first African-American President. Obama Has very light skin due to the fact he was born in Hawaii. How Obama dresses is very professional. Obama wears soft Italian Fabric suits. During his speech on the night of March 19, 2008, he had on a jet black suit, with a white undershirt. His tie was a silk fabric, with a pattern of squares that hit the spotlights and made the tie look shiny. The tie was very light blue with a purple tint from far away. Obama had pants the matched his suit coat perfectly the same color and fabric. The suit had the flaps going down that ended with 3 buttons. Shoes make the outfit on every occasion, his shoes were black but sparked when hit by the bright spotlights. the laces were tied with a perfect bow and were black in
98% of Tennessee’s popular vote. John Adams carried 94% of New Hampshire’s vote (ushistory.org). Neither one of the candidates had a national appeal and they were both gone on the ballot in at least one state. John Adams had a secret meeting with Henry Clay before the election and got his support and that’s what people say led him to win the election (ushistory.org). He won over Western representatives whose states had voted for Jackson and even promised the votes of his home state Kentucky, that didn’t cast even one vote for John Adams (debate.org).
Many were impressed that Lincoln won the Republican party presidency. He was born poor in a log cabin in Kentucky in 1809. He was a self taught man and was a soldier for a while. After President Lincoln won,he knew that the south would want war and he was ready to fight. Lincoln preserved the Union and lead

The outcome of the very close election of 1824 surprised political leaders. The winner in the all-important Electoral College was Andrew Jackson, the hero of the War of 1812, with ninety-nine votes. He was followed by John Q. Adams who secured eighty-four votes. William Crawford trailed well behind with just forty-one votes. Although Jackson seemed to have won a narrow victory, receiving 43 percent of the popular vote versus just 30 percent for Adams, he would not be seated as the country 's sixth president.
Nate compared how Obama did against how John Kerry had done four years earlier. One exception is in Massachusetts. That was John Kerry's home state. Obama couldn't do better than Kerry there. Or in Arizona, which is John McCain's home, Obama didn't have much improvement.

In both of the stories jeter and obama use many strategies like colloquial language and rhetorical questions. They explain it in different types of ways. Jeter in the beginning of the story asks rhetorical questions. This makes the readers not literally go and take it but they can think about it and answer the questions to themselves. Also he uses colloquial language to explain that he’s not only talking about baseball but other goals such as being a big shot doctor, you have to train and work hard to achieve it.

Barack Obama has brought jobless and high-er taxes to our country. Over 11 million Americans have left the work force and the number of Americans on welfare is at an all-time high. He has tripled our deficit and has created a health care system that is flawed in its very foundation. He has made outrageous deals and has weak-ened our image as a world power. His disapproval rating is depressing to see and painful to real-ize he was two term president.
Another source was an interest in the style of clothing worn at Ivy League colleges. In his biography he wrote: "I loved the oldness, the custom mood of navy blazers, school crests, rep ties, flannels, and saddle shoes." which he translated a style often favored by older white men into a look that’s suited for anyone. This fueled his vision for clothing and once said of his style, “I’m interested in longevity, timelessness, style—not

Obama election is where one of my first “real” political experience took place. I wasn't old enough to vote, but I was old enough to read about what was going and, and form an opinion about it. My friends were also becoming politically aware, and they were aware they didn't like Romney, also discovering the radical side of politics. My friends would yell at anyone who said they didn't like Obama and preferred Romney, and went as far as smearing dog feces on a Romney bumper sticker. This was insane to me on how people go as far as vandalizing others property to get their personal belief out.
The clothes you wear reflect your personality as it speaks much about who you are and how you do business.
