The Dark Ages Was the most terrible time everyone in the world died. Even though Many people did not survive, but people learned from it., The Dark Ages was a time of because It was a terrible time, many struggles accrued and Fighting, Killing, Death, and trying survive. Firstly, The Dark Ages was a time of fighting. Rome was attacked, Robbed, and eventually taken over By barbarian tribes. The period following the fall of rome is now known as the “Dark Ages.” Law and order was achieved by local chiefs; their was no higher authority in most places. King Clovis of the Franks had four sons, and when he died his kingdom was divided among them. When at war, tribes showed little mercy, killing many women and children. The city also shrank in size and population because they were probably were being killed. The trade disappeared except close neighbors because the trade were being killed and robbed and close neighbor were fine because people or killers didn't see them to rob them and also kill them. Thirdly, The dark ages was a time of death. Rome cites declined because workers stopped maintaining water supplies and sewage systems. Weeds grew between all the carefully-laid stones in aqueducts and walls, crumbling these once-sturdy structures structures. Most families didn't have enough food to feed themselves.
