Informative/ Explanatory Essay: Hitler Comes To Power HItler was a very cruel and evil man that caused many people pain. Hitler wanted to gain power once he was elected chancellor. He was rude and did gain power. But his gain of power brought suffering to people he called, “undesirables.” Hitler was elected chancellor and became more powerful. “ … Hitler used the fire that destroyed the Reich-stag, the parliament building in Berlin, as an excuse to declare a state of emergency and suspend democratic protections such as freedom of speech.” (16, Smith). This shows that many Jews were killed and many were left without homes or were sent to concentration camps. Therefore Hitler made many Jews suffer in pain just because he had the power to do it. Hitler caused many Jewish people to suffer in pain just because they were Jewish. Hitler used his great power for no good reasons.
