Regardless of whether it is a formal or informal speech, always coming back to the purpose of your speech will help you to stay on track and to not waste time while preparing for it. While working on an informative speech for my public speaking class about the differences between llamas and alpacas, I found that there were heaps of interesting information to choose from. Keeping my outline, with my purpose statement for my speech in front of me, was vital to determining which resources and information that I wanted to utilize. Sometimes less is more, and in the case of holding your audience's attention and helping them to track with your main points, any supurfrivilous information should be left out of your speech. One of your greatest weapons for helping cut out boring facts and information is to include relevant stories which includes the information that you are wanting to include in your speech. While preferrably it will be a personal story, know that any story that draws your audience's attention and promotes your message is a good one. Chances are, that you will not be talking to an audience of rocket scientists, so try to keep your topic, arguments and language clear and concise. Do this in a way that does not make your audience feel dumb or you look like a snooty genius, and you will be one step closer to becoming a great

Presenting a speech, so it is effective, is not always an easy task. For instance, in Julius Caesar, Brutus and Antony speak to the crowd back-to-back from each other, yet one speech in particular makes an impact on the crowd. After both monologues are given, it is crystal clear who is the most favorable of the two in the Roman’s eyes. One, in particular, used spectacular tactics so the crowd would change their point of view on the situation.
All Speeches have there ups and down Its how you present it that really matters. If you have an organized speech your speech will present itself because it will flow out naturally. Making sure that you have constant eye contact with the audience will help sound you more credible. Most importantly making sure that the topic that you have chosen makes sense to what you are doing. While listening to the current even speech that Napoleon Dynamite did and the speech that SpongeBob Square Pants did it is clear that one has practiced more and demonstrated better speech concepts.
Attention First and foremost, for deliver the speech speaker need to gain the attention of the audience since if we do not have their attention we can not persuade the audience ,speaker can grabs the audience’s attention and orients them to the issue use a humorous or dramatic story, a question, a quotation, a startling statement, etc. For example, in a speech designed to get the audience to concerning about the obesity from unhealthy food ,Jamie Oliver open the speech by using a dramatic opening “Sadly, in the next 18 minutes when I do our chat, four Americans that are alive will be dead from the food that they eat.” Jamie grabs the audience attention by questioning how in short time four people can die from the food they eat. 2.

Being confident shows your audience you are comfortable talking about your topic and that you are well informed on what you are specking of. Another thing that I can improve on is relaxing, for example, to not be so nervous. If I can think two steps ahead before I speak it would prepare me for what I am about to say which will allow my words to flow out smoothly and correctly. I plan on improving these skills by practicing more speeches in front of people and doing some relaxation exercises before my speech. I believe by implementing more speeches and doing some of the exercises, it will have me more relaxed, keep my mind focused and boost up my confidence so that I may present my speech flawlessly for an A plus grade.
I will practice more to gain confidence before giving any speech. It will help me to deliver any speech with more confidence and less stress. Practicing in front of the mirror is one of the ways that helps me to reduce my stress level. Thus, I will remember to look at the audience while speaking instead of looking down in the notes.

By the end of my speech, 212 underprivileged children around the world would be clenching their stomach and wobbling from garbage dumps to garbage dumps, searching for half- eaten food. 5 children in India would leave school to work in a dilapidated undergarment factory for 14 straight hours, enduring whipping, and pain just for 3 bowls of rice. 3 children in Africa would be dead after being beheaded by heartless invaders.
