INTRODUCTION
I. Attention-getter: Sleep Disorder- Insomnia is the condition of being unable to sleep. People with insomnia, may have trouble falling asleep, unwanted awakenings during the night, and pitiful sleep. They may experience daytime drowsiness or still be unable to nap, and are often irritable. Insomnia is one of the most common types of sleep intrusion, at least occasionally affecting about one in three people.
II. Credentials: Actually, my boyfriend experiences insomnia all the time. He said it has gotten worse since he was younger. When he starts to lie down, it would take him a few hours to fall asleep. He said he never knew that he was suffering from insomnia until stumbling upon an article about sleeping disorder in a magazine

I. Main Point: First off, to get over insomnia, try to look at your daily habits which may or may not disturb your sleep. Some of the things you are doing on a daily basis may actually make the problem worse.

A. Supporting point: If you are using sleeping pills to fall asleep, they will disrupt your sleep even more over a long period of time. Also, taking sleeping pills is really not good for your health. You will sleep better of course, but my boyfriend advises against them.

B. Supporting point: Reducing the caffeine you intake is also a good thing to do. So, if you have a problem falling asleep, just try to sleep without caffeine completely or at least stop drinking caffeinated drinks a few hours before

II. Main Point: Adopting new habits is another way to help you sleep. Being creative even in your sleep is needed so that you can have experience different qualities of sleep.

A. Supporting point: The easiest thing to do is keep your room quiet and cool. Noise, light, and temperature of the room may interfere with the way you sleep.

B. Supporting point: Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Getting up at your usual time in the morning even if you are tired is really important.

C. Supporting point: My boyfriend also told me that you should try reading before going to bed. Not only does it increase knowledge but you may also enhance your reading skills. I have literally watched him read a novel in less than an hour. I was amazed at how fast he can read.

(Transition): Creating new habits can increase skills you may not have known you had but now on to boosting the brain.
