Today I am going to talk about the impact of social media on bullying. Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying. What do you think about that. 160,000 of those people don’t go to school just because if these bullies. Those people can’t change their past but they can change their future. Firstly, people are more likely to be honest on the internet because it isn’t face to face and although you can’t control what people say because it’s so anonymous, people don’t care what they write. Finally, When you are on a group chat or texting with someone and you say something, it can be miscommunicated which can lead to many feeling hurt and destroyed. You say be honest. Never lie. Talk to people if you need to say something. Use your words. But no, bullies don’t care they take it all out on innocent people. Firstly, some times when you are on a group chat or texting with someone and you say something it leads to hurt feelings. Now, you definitely don’t intend to do this but you need to make sure everything is clear. Jaden, Jordy, Shawna, Aleeza and many others have all been in a situation where they have texted friends but got a response that is not really what they intended to say. Whether it’s a conversation or just one word, when you type something it could go the wrong way. For example, if you type in caps locks without knowing and send it not knowing it could mean anything, the friend on the other side might think you’re yelling at them and it could affect them. In this case you need to make sure everyone’s feeling are okay and you don’t hurt anyone in a way that could mean something
