Introduction
Hello, my name is Hayley Brown. Ever since I was a little girl about the age of four I always wanted to be a gymnast. At the age of five my mom enrolled me in gymnastics. I was in gymnastics until age seventeen. I felt it was my time to quit then because I was the oldest one on my team at the gym. My favorite event was the floor exercise because of all the different things you can do and all the different routines. What I love about it is you can start with one thing and transform it into something different by using the same skills you just learned from your previous skill.
(Preview Statement): Today I’m going to explain three levels of moves you need to know, the first level is basic tumbling, the second level is intermediate tumbling, the last one is advanced tumbling. The three things you need to know how to do first are basic tumbling passes

The round off is my favorite because it is used for most tumbling passes. To do a round off get a running start. As Jody Abersalie said “you need to start with your dominant leg, start running into your round off. Starting with speed helps to get your legs into the air easier. Just before you start the round off, make sure you have a hurdle run. That means you’ll make a short skip with both legs bent before leaping into the round off. Keep your head tucked in, rather than up or out. After you do your skip step you will put your hands in the air and step down onto the ground with your leading foot” (Abersalie). Keep your leg bent while you step down. As you’re stepping down with your leading leg, the other leg should be coming up behind you. By this time your hands should be out in front of you ready to help you do the round off. Next you will bring your legs over your head in one smooth motion. You will put your hands on the ground as your legs go up. Then you will keep going with that motion until your feet hit the ground at the same
Sitting directly on the pot. Keep your raised arms perpendicular to the floor, keep the flat back, you hinged on your hips and bent your torso side. If the kettlebell is on your left hand, turn right and vice versa. Keep your eyes in the pot for the whole time and let your free arm fall to the floor.
Eight enters a modified horse stance. His left leg bent 45° is in front of his right leg that is shoulder width apart. His left side of his body is aimed at his opponent's. The right side is pointed 90° to the right. Both feet are resting in the ground, and his body is evenly distributed across his body making him balanced.
It consists of more tricks than normal such as high leg extensions, numerous amounts of turns, and partnering lifts (Fosse). Roughly three minutes into the
Ab Ripper X Exercise No 1: In & Outs In this exercise, you’re fundamentally making use of your butt as a pivot point as you kick your legs out and in.
You bend the gesture leg and with one hand grasp the other foot, gently bring the knee back until the thigh is approximately vertical. Then bring the heel towards the buttocks until a moderate stretch is felt across the front of the thigh while a neutral position of the pelvis is maintained.
Not so long ago, a brave girl called Ariana Berlin was competing at the highest level of gymnastics of her age category. A couple of months later something terrible happened from that moment on her life changed forever... “Piep, next off on the bars is Ariana Berlin, she’s a real talent!” said the presenter of the big competition. Arianna had a fantastic score and made herself noticed by the coach of UCLA.
Finally, throw the opponent over the hip, causing the opponent to land on their back. A more simple takedown is a double leg. When in a wrestling stance, take one knee to the mat with the other leg firmly planted while reaching both arms around the opponent's legs and locking hands. Then, pull both legs close to chest with head on the outside of the opponent's hips on the side of the firmly planted leg. Finally, drive into the opponent's side using hips, legs, and neck causing the opponent to crumble to the mat.
Deciding to go as soon a possible was a really good idea for me because I usually wait until the last minute. I feel like i'm a little ahead of my initial plan. It was originally for a standing and a roundoff back handspring but those are not the only skill I have gained, I have an aerial and i'm learning more. What I have learned
I wouldn't be the person I am today without the experiences and where I come from. It all started from where I was born. I was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on January 22nd 1995. Haiti is located in the Caribbean, and there we speak two languages fluently, Creole and French. All my family from both my mother’s and my father's side we all come from Haiti.
They also have a foam pit and you can do flips off of a trampoline into the foam pit. I love to do flips off into the foam pit. They dodgeball and basketball. My favorite is the trampoline squares. I love doing flips on them.
They always say cheerleading isn't a sport. “All they are there to do is cheer the boys on and look pretty”. They think lifting girls is easy. They think cheering and jumping at the same time is easy, or doing it for 5 mins is a breeze They say we are nonathletic and don't work out. you think because we wear bows in our heads we can’t be athletes
The reason for this is almost 100 colleges in the US have gymnastics teams. Not only can you continue to do gymnastics and do what you love, you can even earn a helpful scholarship! As a result, if you go to college and get on the gymnastics team, you can make friends quickly because you have something in common with your teammates. Now if you take Simone Biles for instance, she trained so hard in gymnastics and got to go to the Olympics. Not only did she get to go to the Olympics, which is pretty dang hard to do, but she won 1st all around, floor, and vault!
Nowadays, whereas bodybuilding once ruled the roost, Powerlifting is instead looking at taking the number one spot when it comes to popular gym activities. Rather than simply looking to improve the way their bodies, look, people nowadays are instead training for form and function, which is part of the reason why Powerlifting has become so hugely popular over the last decade or so. Strongman contests and competitions are far from new as they’ve been practiced for decades upon decades, centuries in fact, but it is thanks to the popularity of these strongman contests, that Powerlifting has taken off so much. Powerlifting is all about form and technique, rather than just brute strength like many people tend to believe. It is notoriously difficult and insanely physically demanding, which is why only a select few individuals will ever make a success from it.
As you know, exercise is very important for your physical health. Exercising regularly helps keep your heart healthy, lowers your risk for type 2 diabetes as well as some cancers, and helps you get stronger muscles and bones. Today I will be informing you about the benefits of exercise on your mental health, resiliency and academic performance.
