After reading Post University’s civility code, I would have to say that it aligns with my personal and professional community perfectly. As a child, my mom and grandpa raised me to respect everyone and their property, to have integrity, and take responsibility for my actions regardless of the consequences. They taught me that opinions are opinions and it is not my place to force people to agree or share mine. Once I joined the Army it was not hard for me to adapt because my family had already instilled the Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility that it takes to be successful as a soldier.

As a recruiter, I believe that respect, integrity, and responsibility work best in every situation and community. Every day it is my duty to speak with
