Here, we see that it is perfectly applicable as the couple were free to marry each other and could not be held guilty in a court of law as the law was not infringed by either of them and both were of marriageable age and thus were well within their rights to enter into marriage with each other. It is not a huge concern for me because I am not a religious person. I believe that if you love a person than religion should not be an big issue. Although, my parents would not particularly like the idea of me marrying someone of a different religion. My parents would not object to me marrying someone of a different religion but they would not like it. This is because my parents believe there will too many issues due to our different faiths.
But at the sometime there are still American who are against interracial relationship and try to use religion to stop it such as the Bible verses “come out from them and be separate and touch no unclean thing. (2 Corinthians 6:17) which is not talking about race but about God grace, it’s telling Christian to not marry a non- Christian. Which I also agree because it can lead people to worshipper false pagan god and not Jesus. So in my opinion it’s ok to date or marriage someone who skin color or ethnicity different but you have to have the same religion.

Marriage by definition is “the legal union of a man and a woman as husband and wife.” Americans statistically fail in a marriage, (According to Susan Estrich)“with more than half of all marriages ending in divorce, families are not what they used to be. In modern marriages, one of the partners will get married to the other for the wrong reasons such as financial stability (wealth). Sociologists are mostly interested in the relationship between marriage and family as they form the key structures in a society. The key interest on the correlation between marriage and family is because marriages are historically regarded as the institutions that create a family while families are on the other hand the very basic unit upon which our societies are founded on.

I want to marry someone who I love and not care about their religion. I want to think about love first and then religion, not the other way around. I believe in all religions, I believe that everyone should believe in different gods, idols or even nature. Everyone should believe in what they want to. I do not necessarily believe in the Jewish God

Additionally UNICEF stated that 48% of women in South Asian are forced to be married before they are 18. Not only are the being forced into marriage but are being forced to marry men older than them( UNICEF also states that the average age difference in arranged marriages is that the male is 4.5 years older). Marriage has been a part of life since before the medieval times. For two individuals who adore each other and arrangement on spending whatever remains of their lives together, the usual impulse is to make it legitimate and get hitched. This being said same-sex marriage had been broadly talked about and bantered on if it ought to be sanctioned or not. It is segregating not to permit two individuals who need to get hitched because they are a gay person. Authorizing same-sex marriage would perceive the American long for equal rights for all.

In other parts of the world, different cultures practice arranged marriages planned by the family or guardians of the bride and groom.
