2.1 INTRODUCTION
It is often said that change can be deemed inevitable in mankind's evolution. Change gradually manifest itself and takes place through different stages. Thus, it’s seldom a reality and a needed process that affects man and nature alike. It’s the process through which anything or anyone has the opportunity to be altered, improved and evolved. Per say, change is constantly assimilated to the concept of cause and effect – moreover when change happens our most instinctive reaction is to naturally adjust & adapt to its effects. On the other hand, anything that fails to change and evolve eventually becomes obsolete. Adaptability might just be man’s first and foremost survival instinct. An important trait

It is the most powerful law of nature.” Change is an inevitable aspect of life, yet many people are terrified by the very prospect of any change. They believe that is is all bad, and that it is best if things remain the same. In reality, change is neither inherently bad nor inherently good; but all changes have both positive and negative aspects, and the way a person views change depends on their perspective.
Every moment, humans have a chance to uproot their current way of life and evolve. Changing one’s routines is quite important and arguably compulsory to live a productive life. In brief, change as a concept is vital to humans. It is not merely a word but a mindset. In the book, Touching Spirit Bear, Cole Matthews, a troubled fifteen year old boy, goes through many changes in a short period of time.
Change. Change is an ordinary process in life that allows humans to evolve as individuals, societies, and as a species. Yet, not all changes are the same. Not all changes are equal. The effect of getting a new job is different than the effect of losing a job.
For thousands of years, people have adapted to their environment to better suit themselves and to evolve. Adapting is making (something) suitable for a new use or purpose and evolving is to develop gradually. Individuals adapt to the challenges of life to find outcomes that are either positive or negative. It helps them to become resiliant and to adapt to their environment and also strengthen the bonds of friendship. The bigger the adversity, the more adapting will need to take place.
Change. Change helps people grow. Change brings people down. Change is the driving force behind humanity, whether the change is innovative or destructive. You and I, him and her, have all experienced change within ourselves, as well as change among others.
Overall, change is portrayed negatively by the authors. When change is negatively portrayed, there are many options to overcome it. In the story “Metamorphosis” by “Franz Kafka” Gregor

Racism occurs in our day to day life. Often you can hear racial comments even while walking down a school hallway.
Change is inevitable. It is the only thing that is constant in life. Resistance to change is a natural reaction, rooted in our past experiences, cultural norms, and innate psychological needs for certainty and control. The concept of change is very challenging for many individuals. Hesitation about accepting change reduces the possibilities and opportunities for development and limits opportunities.
Argumentative Essay: Is change positive, negative, or neutral? Change is inescapable. No matter which stage one is in life, changes, both of little or major consequence, are bound to happen. As human beings, to fear the concept of change is deep-rooted in our nature. While majority deem change as a negative occasion, it is arguable to consider it as otherwise.
Introduction: Change leads to both positive and negative situations, however concludes in transformation. Whether negative or positive, change will alter aspects, and transform lives. The use of literature enables individuals to accept that change results in growth. Change can have three main perspectives: changing self, changing worlds and changing perspectives. These perspectives are all represented in the novel, Catherine, Called Birdy, written by Karen Cushman, and are also presented in the short story Sky High, written by Hannah Roberts.
“When the wind blows, some build walls while others build windmills. ” This quote was incorporated to demonstrate the different emotions and reactions people have towards change. Change can be both negative and positive and while some people embrace it, others are frightened by it. Andy Warhol once said, “They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself”. Change is affected by time and by people in different ways. A negative change can ultimately have a positive outcome. Change is not always bad, but in order for it to be good you need to make it good. Change occurs all the time, and it happens to everyone at one point in his or her life.
Since the beginning of the Earth, humans have slowly shown Earth how they can adapt to the surroundings that change ever so slightly. Change is an occurring theme that forces humans with decisions that affect the rest of their lives. It alters our thinking, understanding, and morals.
