My internal Locus of control side will help me take responsibility and knowing that if I study harder or give more time to my studies, i will do a lot better than the last time. For example when my learning journal for unit one was graded even though I passed half mark I still blamed myself for not doing my best to get it 100%, I kept saying if I was given the opportunity again that I did do better. So I think my internal Locus of control will help me give my self a hard push. And according to the test scores attributing failure to unstable internal sources which i do most of the time, will help me mobilize my strength and increase my motivation in future encounter with similar

Say for instance, a boy has an English test tomorrow morning. He doesn’t spend much time studying and went out to dinner with his friends instead. When he gets his test back, he sees that he failed. If the boy had an internal locus of control would take responsibility of the failure and blame it on his lack of studying. If the boy had an external locus of control would say the teacher grades too harshly or that the test was too hard, anything but his own fault.
Nationalism is about having the greater love, pride for one’s state, its about loyalty and devotion to the shared cause of nation building. For the most part of early nineteenth century it played a uniting role in European politics which gave them some form of stability and common cause to fight for. So, when the fervor of nationalism crosses that invisible line then it leads to Imperialism. Imperialism is about forcing other people, foreign territory into subjugation who are different. Japanese attack on China and Korea before and during second world war was a form of Imperialism.

Criminological theories to explain the offender’s behaviour POWER CONTROL THEORY John Hagan as well as Gillis and Simpson developed the power control theory in 1985, by using micro and macro-level abstract ideas to explain delinquency in relation to gender differences (Mitchell, 2009:12). Schram and Tibbetts (2013:201) states that the power control theory presumes that gender relations in the family structure will determine the degree of delinquency and the involvement in crime between males and females. Furthermore, this theory presumes that the family structure, gender differences as well as class position will determine the degree of deviant behaviour that will be present in males and females (Anon, 2016:1).

Goals or needs can play an intense role in the different views of culturally motivated reasoning. We often have or mind set in stuff that benefit us or are that are in our favor. If we have a certain idea or mindset we can go out of our way to make that idea true and conclusive. This not only includes personal point of views to keep ourselves from believing things we don’t want, but views that can be altered by others to keep us from seeing things they don’t want us to see. This is often common in the political world where information is shared a certain way so that we can see what they want us to see and not what it really is.
A good example to compare and explain the internal locus disposition and external locus disposition is a person who is trying to quit smoking.
