The influence of the international business on daily life of people We wake up wearing pyjamas designed in Spain and made in Vietnam, on a bed bought in a Swedish Ikea in the Czech Republic, clean our teeth with a Swiss toothbrush and cut South American fruits for breakfast with a sharp Japanese knife. We drive to work in a car designed in America, manufactured in China and assembled in Europe. In the age when almost every country in the world acknowledged the theory of the free trade, and the days of the protectionism are deep in the past, the humanity has become a consumer society and the international business has enormous influence on lives of most people in the world. It can be quite often that in certain circumstances people become victims of unpleasant situations that could happen because of the international connections between some countries or transnational corporations. It is clear that the governments are one of the main participants in the international business, taking many actions every day to strengthen their political influence abroad. Some of those interactions lead to international disputes or even conflicts. We do not have to go deep in the past to remember a perfect example of such situations. It is well known that many of the European countries import tremendous amounts of natural gas from Russia, and the biggest company in the region representing that branch and conducting the business is Gazprom. It is no news that the Russian government tends to have certain disagreements with its European partners and, most of all, Ukraine. Due to those political reasons it happened several times that delivery of the natural gas was on the verge of stopping.
