we have a need for more than one teacher. Knowing that “The International Kindergarten” will also provide English classes, there is a need for a native-speaker English teacher. Moreover, in every kindergarten you need to have a nurse on disposal if any kids have a medical problem. For the care-center service we will need to have a supervisor. According to the law and the need of the kindergarten we would hire the following employees:
• 1 Principal
• 1 Principal assistant
• 3 French teachers
• 1 Nurse
• 1 Janitor
• 1 English teacher
• 4 Educators for young Children

The Universal Pre-K Initiative is a movement to allow access to preschool programs for all eligible children in all states, regardless of social economic status, abilities and other factors. Except for the early years of the Bush administration, support for Universal Pre-K has come entirely from Democratic policy actors. Universal Pre-K didn’t emerge again as a national issue until it became part of the Obama campaign’s platform in 2006 (Brown & Wright 2011). The impact of Universal Pre-K Initiative will have on the Early Childhood Education field is apparent. Some have argued that the state should not be providing these services and should allow existing agencies to continue operating their Pre-K programs.
There are many aspects of society that can be compared when doing an analysis of three cultures: socio-economic statuses, occupations, fertility rates, diets, religions, economics, and politics are few among many. Education, and particularly early childhood education, is a fascinating topic to study when conducting a comparison because it has elements of all traits and greatly mirrors the values of the culture of that which it is present, “Preschools are sites where a variety of domains, interests, and social actors intersect. Preschool is where child rearing meets education; where the world of parents and home first meets the world of teachers and school” (Tobin, Hsueh, & Karasawa, 2009, p. 2). According to Tobin, Hsueh, and Karasawa (2009),
Physiotherapists/occupational therapists work with children outside the school but to support the progress of the pupil may also visit the school to attend any meetings regarding the pupil. Question: Question 6 Answer: The ethos of a school along with its values, aims and mission statement should all be reflected in the school environment. These should all be perceptible to anyone spending time in a school watching both the pupils and staff.
It may seem a little invasive, but schools are permitted to use drug dogs to sniff out contraband during unannounced, random searches and it becomes a controversial problem for all. The use of drug-sniffing dogs in schools is permitted because students do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the school and school search did not go against the Fourth Amendment, which is the right of people to be secure in their personal spaces houses and papers. While drug dogs are becoming more and more commonplace in our public schools and to maintaining a drug-dog program can cost district estimates $12,000 and $36,000 every year. Drug dog must go through a long period of time of training and drug dogs are not dangerous to people, but instead it protects people. Without reservation, we must know the history background, advantages, and disadvantages of having a drug dog searches.
Sometimes the decision is made to bring in an external professional to work with the school. This may be necessary if children require specialist assessments if concerns are raised by staff or parent/carers. Although there are many different types of professionals I am going to explain the role of three professionals. Speech therapist work with children who have difficulties with speech, language and communication or eating, drinking and swallowing. They identify the causes of the speech difficulty and create speech and language programmes.
Administrative certificate aside, it is incredible the amount of tasks and duties administrator’s must handle while also being under a high amount of scrutiny. Administrators are ambassadors for their schools, with their actions, words, and appearance being constantly examined. Especially if the administrator lives in the district that they work in as does Mr. McCormick. Another eye-opening fact of this experience was just how much of an administrators job is kept separate from the day-to-day running of a school. Mr. McCormick talks about how most of the things he does are outside of school hours in anticipation of school events.
The roles of other support staff such as cleaners, dinner staff, caretakers, administrative staff are integral to the daily running of the school. Each role ensures the school runs smoothly and safely for the pupils attending. 2.b) Many schools also have external professionals who help pupils with any additional needs such as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) or an Educational Psychologist. They are an important part of the school and help pupils meet the performance standards needed.
In every school there are set policies and procedures so that all people working within the school are aware and stick to the same rules. Consistency is imperative. All adults working in the school would be : teaching staff, support staff, lunchtime supervisors, kitchen staff, governors, after school staff and temporary staff. There are many policies in schools that children and staff should be aware of.

My Educational Philosophy of Early Childhood Education Being a pre-service training educator, specific goals and objectives should be set to achieve educator’s own educational philosophy. The Educational philosophy is an individual statement of educators’ guiding principles about the education-related
Study Hall, not a highway were studying is taking place. Adding study hall as an elective at Von would bring more benefits to both students and teachers than loss because there’s a likelihood that grades will go up along with standardized test scores. In the same way, the class is versatile, so students have the option on what they want to do. Not only that, but it creates a safety net for students to complete work. Overall, the advantages of implanting a study hall outweigh the disadvantages of it.
The purpose of my reflection and artifacts is to provide you with information about my learning skills and experience that I have gained during my studies for the Early Childhood Education program. My experience throughout the course was fun especially on my Virtual Child Assignment because it was an interesting journey. I have discovered about the development and behaviour for my child Neel. This course had a good impact both on me and my learning skills because I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge skills ages and safety, the health and safety practise which I believe is important for a child. Secondly the most important part that I found in the virtual assignment was the working step by step process about the Child’s growth hence, I learned the importance of the health and safety practises which are very important for me to work as an Early Childhood Educator.
School governor are made up of at least 20 people who work as a team to meet goals and support the schoolâ€TMs educational system and improve ser-vices for example, personal issues, support groups and activities etc. The governors are selected based on the links they have with the community and local authority. They help bring new concepts to manage the school effectively and work closely within the commu-nity for example raise money for charity organisations to contribute to the society. The governors represent the support staff and work together to raise issues and concerns. This helps structure the school management and improve the system as a whole.
Through this knowledge, the teacher can presume how children of a particular age group will act, what they are capable of doing and what they are not likely able to do. Consequently, the teacher can devise activities rather confidently by taking all these aspects into consideration. At this stage, the teacher can take advantage of the windows of opportunity for the child’s growth. In other words, the teacher benefits from the sensitive period of a child’s development to provide him with enriching activities; the best period for the child to learn and develop further. In addition, what the children learn should be relevant to their environment and life experiences.
It refers to any adult in a child 's life who has accepted the responsibility of parent/caretaker. Educator: This term "is used to emphasize that collaboration involves the entire school community, not just teachers" (National Association of School Psychologists, 2002, pg. 4). 1.2 Parent teacher
