Online advertising utilize the Internet as a medium to target and deliver marketing messages to customers. Internet advertising offers a number of benefits over traditional advertising. For instance, several Internet advertisers have improved sophisticated techniques for segmenting consumers so that enable more precise targeting of advertisements. Numerous Internet advertising publishers have also developed methods for clients to check the performance of ads, tracking how users interact with their brands and learning what is of interest to present and future customers. In advertising-based business models, publishers of content are generally willing to offer free or subsidised services to consumers so that to ensure a large enough audience …show more content…
As the service is provided through the internet using the provider’s hardware, users can easily access the service utilizing several types of devices wherever they are, in case they have an appropriate Internet connection. The resources to which cloud computing users are given access are not stored on a single PC. Instead, they can find on different networked computers that are available to everybody who has access to that “cloud” of computing resources. The system copies every user’s data and software to other servers, which enables it to allocate requests for hardware resources to whatever physical location is best able to satisfy the demand efficiently. Each user has access to a large amount of computer resources when required, but only when required. Cloud computing usually provides users with a cost effective method to buying and maintaining their own IT infrastructure, as the cost of the consumer resources is usually shared among a wide user base. The advantages of cloud computing are largely led by economies of scale in setting up the infrastructure and maximising server usage by sharing space among users whose requirements for space and processing power may vary on a flexible …show more content…
The customers don’t manage or control the underlying cloud infrastructure, however they have control over the operating system, storage, and deployed applications, and may be given limited control of select networking components (e.g. host firewalls) • Platform as a service: This is a category of cloud computing services that provides a computing platform and programming tools as a service for software developers. Software resources provided by the platform are embedded in the code of software applications meant to be used by end users. The client does not control or manage the underlying cloud infrastructure, including the network, servers, operating systems, or storage, but has control over the deployed applications • Software as a service: A common form of cloud computing in which a provider enables the user to access an application from various devices through a client interface such as a web browser. It can be provided either to business customers (B2B) or individual customers (B2C). The consumer generally does not manage or control the underlying cloud infrastructure, including the network, servers, operating systems, storage, or individual application capabilities, with the possible exception of limited user-specific application configuration
6. Data owner pays to TPA to get security of its data and can access valuable data at anytime. 7.7.2 Cloud Server 1. One whose going to access files, one who owns file, who requires his data to be secure.
By integrating Bandwidth’s solutions onto the Restcomm platform, developers and organizations can quickly deploy and provision communications solutions on any cloud based platform from; on-premises, hosted, or hybrid. Telestax’s customers want reliable, cost-effective, and integrated communications solutions. Customers want to incorporate collaboration functionality into deployed applications to increase their lifespan and usefulness. Bandwidth combined Telestax expands the Restcomm developer network to deliver powerful voice and real-time communications applications.
Not only will these innovations improve network strength, but possibly the speeds at which a client can access information from an application server. This has the potential to make cloud computing even more prevalent than it already is today because it would become easier to keep up with mass traffic to the servers. Large server banks would be able to be downsized slightly compared to their current sizes. The computer science techniques used in created Marple show that it is possible to even make an old process useful in modern applications. The hardware of Marple is also programmable making it extremely useful for any network engineers because they will be able to write custom software for Marple-based
2.1 AWS Networking AWS provide a kind of networking services that also provide private network connections to the cloud, scalable DNS and tools to make logistically solitary networks. There are also have prevalent networking services comprise the Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Amazon Direct Connect. Amazon VPC generates a logically solitary set of Amazon EC2 for example which can be connected to current network using VPN connection. Amazon VPC generates a private cloud inside AWS, while deposition built-in security with security groups and network access control lists. When using Amazon EC2, VPC is free.
KELSER – ‘Technology forward’, provides a cloud solution for disaster recovery and targets especially small and medium business (SMB’s) which can provide a speedy recovery with lesser hardware dependency. The main advantage of using Kelser products is that it provides scalability for its DR services and can be purchased on ‘a need’ basis. The biggest drawback is that, it does not address all the business units of an organization and hence the DR process cannot be address at an organizational level which leads to lack of ownership in dealing with disaster recovery (KELSER, 2016).
The difference between the two and three-tier client/server configuration, are the tiers (layers) that make up the systems. In a two-tier system you have a client and a server, each has the capability of doing the processing for the application (Brown, DeHayes, Hoffer, Martin, & Perkins, 2012). The software is loaded on the client computer, and access the data server directly. In a three-tier system, there is an additional server/computer between the client and data server; this third component contains the business logic or processing for the application (Brown, DeHayes, Hoffer, Martin, & Perkins, 2012; Luke, n.d.). A three-tier configuration could be a web-enabled business application.
2.7 Observations from GMPCS Model Based on the above model, several observations can be made as follows. Observation_1: According to an interoperability feature between CSPs, a storage service will be hosted over a pool of resources that are in different geographical locations. Furthermore, different technologies, protocols, and security strategies are applied by each CSP within its datacentres to facilitate managing an environment to protect both resources and data. The technologies and strategies, therefore, might be disparate in terms of efficiency, and the type of storage network or storage system might be varied as well.
Advertising has been around for decades and has been the center point for buyers by different subjects peaking different audience’s interests. Advertisers make attempts to strengthen the implied and unequivocal messages in trying to manipulate consumers’ decisions. Jib Fowles wrote an article called “Advertising’s Fifteen Basic Appeals,” explaining where he got his ideas about the appeals, from studying interviews by Henry A. Murray. Fowles gives details and examples on how each appeal is used and how advertisements can “form people’s deep-lying desires, and picturing states of being that individuals privately yearn for” (552). The minds of human beings can be influenced by many basic needs for example, the need for sex, affiliation, nurture,
Its aim is to delivering some value to the customers so they purchase or sell goods and/or services. Advertising, however is one of many tools used in marketing to reach and inform consumers. Of the four P’s in the marketing mix, advertising falls under ‘promotion’. Some other marketing tools are public relations, sales promotions, directing marketing and personal selling. There are various types of advertisements, among them political, public service, retail and directory.
Targeted Advertising: Helpful or Hurtful? Technology has challenged the rules of privacy, and people are questioning if privacy is a necessity anymore. Technology, specifically apple products such as iPhones, is a need in many people’s lives, and they cannot imagine not being able to check their phones for the weather or to ask Siri to find the closest restaurant. Unfortunately, people do not realize companies use technology for targeted advertising, which is an invasion of privacy. An invasion of privacy is when people’s private information is used to influence them and is given to other people or companies unknowingly.
Stakeholder analysis Stakeholder are entity that will affect the organization actions, objectives and policies. There are two types of stakeholder which is internal stakeholder and external stakeholder. The McDonald’s stakeholders are customers, suppliers, employees, managers, government, local communities and pressure groups. Customers Customers are the external stakeholders of the company, no customer mean zero profit.
Amazon has achieved many milestones from starting in the founder’s garage in 1994 to the growth in revenue to US$147.8 million in 1997 and then to the revenue growth of US$177.866 billion in 2017 (Amazon, 2018a, Amazon, 2018b and Jurevicius, 2018). These milestones were achieved through tenacious focused strategies of meeting their customers’ needs and wants. These strategies have maintained and expanded their customer base locally and internationally and have increased its market shares and profit over the last two decades. In addition, projection for the company’s growth and expansion for the next three to five years looks positive as it predicted to grow at the same rate with its expansion internationally and continued focused in satisfying consumers’ wants (Amazon, 2018a). Although, some factors such as governmental policies, legal issues and natural disasters could pose a threat to Amazon’s growth plans, the management team led by the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) are working on mitigating the risk (Amazon, 2018a).
Cloud By using Cloud, Starbucks could set up a cloud-based coffee selling machine. It offers self-service. Customers can make their own coffee by selecting the coffee beans they like, the amount of sugar etc. It creates excellent customer experience to enhance customers’ loyalty. Moreover, this technology could keep track of its customers’ consumption patterns and buying behaviors.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) was upgraded with Microsoft products such as Microsoft Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched Amazon CloudFront, a high performance, self-service, pay-as-you-go method of distributing data over the internet. Amazon Web Services (AWS) introduced Public Data Sets which enabled developers and researchers to cost-effectively create, share and consume sets of data free of charge. Amazon launched Amazon Currency Converter, to pay purchases in the currency of customer’s payment card, instead of US dollars. Amazon launched “Bill Me Later” for its customers to complete purchases instantly online without using a credit card.
Literature review Advertising has become a form of communication and a great source for promoting services and products for any business in the whole market because of its broader impact. The main idea of an advertisement is to get the attention of the consumers, build up the product’s strong image in their mind and provide information to help the consumer to make a purchase decision. So, the central focus in today’s diverse global marketplace is the consumer. Companies exert a lot of effort to find out the best ingredients that should be in an effective advertising and identifying its influence on the consumer’s mind, so effective advertising should be considered as one of the most important tools that strongly affect and can change the consumer’s buying behavior. The research attempts to investigate the impact of effective advertising on the consumer’s buying behavior.
