Think about it the internet this way, the internet can be just as dangerous as a weapon put into the right context. Although weapons are not being closely monitored by the government as closely as they should be it is the same as the internet and not being closely monitored. If people believe that guns should be monitored or banned, as should the internet. I believe that the government should be able to monitor people's internet content. I think that only the state and or local should be able to though because if somebody looks up something suspicious on the internet, the state could report the matter to the federal government just to be safe. This way, it could protect the United States from things like terrorist attacks, shootings, bombings, etc. They could also report other …show more content…
The president may have important news to share with the United States citizens that follow him. I think that the chances of the president tweeting important information out would be so slim, it would be near impossible for it to actually happen. In the small chance that it does occur, other government officials would most likely be keeping an extremely close eye on the account and monitoring what he is posting. He is also a US citizen just like the rest of us. Just because he has a higher position than most people and is expected to act like he does, it is free speech and within our 10 amendments. If he posts something that people think is wrong to post, he can read through the critiques and comments on the post and learn from his mistakes and learn the rights from wrongs on what to post. Trump should be able to block people from his twitter and other social media accounts because the comments are public and sometimes the comments can be more racist and more necessary than the post itself, some people can seek out the tiniest issue with one post and make it into the biggest problem which might even be unrelated to
The internet has been used to post all the plans of people. Many people post what they are doing or what they are going to do. People in some occasions post to hurt or harm other people. The video of the Virginia shootings posted by Bryce Williams, whose real name is Vester Lee Flanagan and who is thought to be the gunman who killed two of his former co-workers at the television station WDBJ (Manjoo) was publish and it took the police a long time to find him. The government can stop acts of violence and crime if they see everything that happens on the internet and social media.
If he knew what the right way to use it was there would be no problem with him using it. He needs to control what he says. He might say something offensive to another world leader and start a war. He needs to understand that there are right and wrong things that a president should say. He can’t be offensive with the things he says, gives confidential information away in one of his tweets and he also can’t act like he knows everything (as seen in this picture below).
In a time where every word counts, Donald Trump delivers a speech that eases the fears of many. While Trump’s speech appears informal and elementary, he displays expertise in the art of rhetoric. He employs the use of pathos, ethos, impeccable diction and mindful arrangement to grab the attention of the audience. As is evident from the public disturbances, Donald Trump is not favored by many Americans.
Whether it is the annual State of the Union address, release of the president’s budget proposal, a major speech, a press conference, a photo shoot with a foreign leader, or the release of a report, the president’s message is continually publicized.
In the United States of America certain regulations are definitely necessary for public safety. The regulations are there to better the nation and not further control it. The government can not get rid of everyone 's right to own and keep a gun but, they can simply control the amount of guns able to be purchased. Therefore, the government is not taking away peoples guns but, simply regulating those who can or cant not own them to better protect the citizens of America. And thus any remarks about the government taking away peoples guns are untrue, the government is doing this for everyone 's well
To what extent does the local, state, and federal governments have the duty to monitor internet content and traffic? They do not have any authority to monitor what is on the internet. That would violate the First and Fourth Amendments of the United States Constitution. The United States Constitution gives each man, woman, and child the said rights awarded as being a citizen.
As a nation, we need to unite as a whole with some common sense and help implement laws to lower gun violence. There are many reasons why the government needs to change existing laws. For instance, it is unhealthy for young children and teens to have access to these guns within arms reach. Furthermore, background checks will have a huge part in this process of reducing gun violence. Such as, reducing the amount of people who have access to guns who shouldn’t.
This makes us wonder why people can be so defensive over something like a gun that is so dangerous and has lead to a lot of deaths in the American society. Gun control is essential in our society today because it will help prevent unnecessary shootings and crime rate Gun control will play a major part in the decrease of the crime and murder rate. Therefore, in my point of view, guns should be totally controlled and regulated by the government. If gun ownership is controlled by the government, only a limited number of people will be allowed to own guns. In addition, the regulations will make it difficult for people to access guns unless they have a concrete reason as to why they need the weapon.
Guns are just a tool, like knives and hammers and it completely depends on the people on how they use it. People who support guns and arms say that the Second Amendment secures individual’s right to carry guns with them and that gun rights is needed for self-protection, and was intended for military to have peace and defend the country if needed (Spitzer, 70). Most of the Americans use guns as a source to protect themselves and they believe that gun ownership prevents crime. A study conducted on November 26, 2013 showed that bans on weapons did not significantly affect murder rates at the state level (Lane, 5). Moreover, even if the rules and regulations are executed on gun control, not all criminals obey the law.
The Internet is not safe. The Internet promotes bullying. The Internet is non-communicative. The Internet has zero privacy. The Internet is creating illiterate teenagers.
His goal is to make sure that the audience and potential voters will remember what he was talking about. The way he speaks is distant from the popular modern political rhetorical rules. He uses punchlines and underlines something he wants to be remembered by placing the most important word at the end of the sentence. The way Donald Trump is using the language is not common in a political world as most of politicians are rather careful of what they say during their public speeches or in the Internet. In
And this is causing a big problem because people are misusing them. Therefore, I believe the guns should be banned in the U.S. It is no exaggeration to say that guns are the key element to cause the instability in the society of U.S. The citizens are possessing guns in U.S. and this is a huge risk for the government and the safety of society itself. According to [http://www.rulen.com/gunban/], 0.004% of the guns-possessions are used in the crime each year, and it is an enormous number.
Cyber threats continue to plague governments and businesses around the world. Cyberwarfare is Internet-based conflict involving politically motivated attacks on information and information systems. Normally there are two purposes of Cyberwarfare, espionage or sabotage. Cyberwarfare attacks can disable official websites and networks, disrupt or disable essential services, steal or alter classified data, and cripple financial systems. Cyber operations can also aide military operations, such as intelligence gathering and information warfare.
“Media has become as necessary as food and clothing. Media is a mirror of the modern society; in fact, it is the media which forms our lives. The principle of the media is to let people know about modern, new relationships and to tell about the most modern discussion and fashion. The media still very backward behind other economic sectors because international communication is closely bound up with culture, language and tradition” (Karachi, M.(n.d). Media has many important types we already use in our daily life such as the internet and TV also radio and print media like newspaper and magazine.
