Internship Plan

I, as a third year student under Bachelor of Business Management in Sunway University, had chosen to become a 12 weeks intern in KEN Holdings Berhad as it is one of the listed companies under Bursa Malaysia and the First Multiple Award Winning Developer in Malaysia. Basically I was put under the Credit control Department under this company where I did not know much about the job scope. As I had done my further research about it through social media, it is time for me to try out new things beyond the business scope. In Business Management course, instead of broadening up my career scope towards marketing or human resource, why not try different things and learn one or two from them? For my objectives, it is to enhance my knowledge and skills to further understand how credit control might be beneficial

It would lead to a disadvantage to achieve my objectives by forming better relationship between subordinates. When I was first introduced inside the company, I have some difficulties in remembering each and every employee’s name as there are too much of them. Despite different departments, it is hard to communicate with them.

As an intern, there might be an inability to cope with tasks that has near deadlines. If I am to be given multiple tasks with a near deadline, the working performance will be worse as it would lead to higher percentage of careless mistakes.

I have the need to complete tasks quickly in which it may badly affect the quality of my work and performance. As the workload is increasing, I would tend to quickly finish those tasks where I left out some mistakes. As a result, I had to redo some tasks by re-printing certain documents that are left out in order to finish the tasks faster.
