While student’s dedication and commitment are vested in our athletic program, many of our players come from low-income families, and they cannot afford to purchase the items needed to participate in our program. Our organization is reaching out to you for assistance. We would like you to play a role in our athletic program, by providing a small donation or sponsoring one of our student-athletes. Your contribution will not only encourage students to continue in a positive path, but it will change the lives of these young men. All proceeds will go towards football equipment, uniforms, summer camps, academic tutors, S.A.T., and A.C.T.
College sports is one of the best-known entertainments around the world. But for the athletes, they are students first then athletes second. For college student-athletes, there are a variety of scholarships and grants to help pay for college or college debt. However, some critics say that student-athletes should be paid a salary like pro athletes would, with help from scholarships or grants. The authors of, College Athletes are being Educated, not Exploited, Val Ackerman and Larry Scott, argue that student-athletes are already paid by free education and other necessities.
More people would come to the gym to practice, train, or just play games. The school could ask the people for money if they want to come to the gym. Also, the school could make a rec league for money to build the gym. Clearly, adding another gym to Otto-Eldred Jr Sr high school would benefit the school, community, and help kids. In addition, adding another gym would make the community better than ever.
In order to meet these expectations, many student have to sacrifice sports and other extracurricular activities that they love in order to keep up with their demanding schoolwork. Other students settle for less challenging classes because they allow them to continue with their other passions. Other students such as myself take both rigorous classes and dedicate themselves to out of school activities
Accordingly all the pride you have when you represent a country and a group of talented athletes going into the Olympics. Ordinarily, knowing you are not just competing as an athlete, but as a country, competing against so many other countries doing what you love best. It would be a great honor to be representing so much like your country and to also be an inspiring athlete to all the other junior athletes and younger kids. A enormous dream for millions and billions of people to have such a talent in a sport. Junior college sports can be very similar to NCAA division one, depending on the team and their talent. Most student athletes that play at a junior college are, in most cases, looking to play NCAA division one in their sport. As a Freshman in college these players may not be good enough to play division one quite yet. But after playing two years for a competitive Junior college school the player may now be ready to play division one. While playing for the Junior college players can also save money waiting for an athletic scholarship at a division one school, division two school, or even a NAIA school.
With so many kids participating it was bound to become something of discussing. Should kids play competitive sports? While some parents believe that the competition can harm kids, I believe that sports can greatly help kids. Making them experience healthy competition and become more well rounded contributing members of society. The first reason that I believe supports my claim is that kids gain a sense of healthy competition that can prepare them for life.
Is study abroad worth the cost? It may be expensive, but it is an experience that can open many doors. It offers different career possibilities that without studying abroad would be harder or impossible to get. Not studying abroad lowers a person’s chances of success in the ever-globalizing world. It is difficult to ignore that studying abroad comes at a very high price.
Essay For one to be able to participate and take place in a sport or school team, the student athlete should be able to understand the responsibilities that come with it. Student athletes are very active and are usually too caught up in the school team or sport that the student would forget about school and school work. To be able to participate in these sports and school teams, one should be able to maintain a high average overall. If a student athlete does not go into the athletic field, then the student would need a back-up plan, or if the student does go into the athletic field one would still have to be a high school graduate which means finishing high school with thirty-two credits, meaning the student would have to pass all the courses the student takes unless one goes to summer school or does early morning courses. The “C Rule” The “C rule “ would be a huge academic benefit to Webb City High School. The “C rule” is a rule that says any student who participates in an extracurricular activity has to maintain at least a C average in each of their required classes. With the “C rule” being enforced it would motivate students to do better in school and to try harder. Students grades would rise and although some students would not be able to participate in their activities anymore it would still be beneficial for the students who actually care about school . Enforcing the “C rule” would cause students grades and grade point averages to rise.
