INTRODUCTION
Issues related to social responsibility and sustainability are becoming more important, especially in today’s economic and social environment, or as a whole in the business sector. Business aims are inextricable from the communities and environments within which they operate. Whilst short-term economic gain can be aspired, the failure to be considered for longer term social and environmental significance makes those business practices unfeasible.
Business sustainability is all about to fulfill the needs and wants of one’s customers, clients and stakeholder universally in a social trustworthy and thus, an economic effective manner accordingly. Business is foreseen to attain its core economic gain in allegiance of morality and

There are studies analyzed the factors that affect the preference of the most suitable strategy and indicate the level of development a company aims to achieve (Van Marrewijk, 2010 and Van Bommel, 2011). Companies with a low level of innovation normally will opt for defensive strategy, while organizations with higher level of innovation are competent to execute offensive strategies. Aging out of foster care falls under the child welfare field of practice. Child welfare is a system that is designed to protect children through prevention/intervention, primarily focusing on children who have a risk of being abused or neglected. Child welfare itself overlaps with many other professions and disciplines such as doctors, law enforcement, and education professionals, etc. The well-being of a child should never solely be on the social worker as a child may see many of these professionals on a regular basis (NASW, 2013). Having connections with all the systems in a child’s life can be very beneficial for the child.
To start off, kids in our community are allowed to ride bikes at any age. However, in the community you must be nine years of age before younare allowed to ride a bike. Jonas is talking about how he recalls being a nine and getting his first bicycle. Jonas is hinking about this time and he says “The children all received their bicycles at Nine; they were not allowed to ride bicycles before then” (Lowry 13).

Project Concept and Strategy a. Was the Woody 2000 project well-conceived? Give reasons for your opinion. Ans. When a project is to be conceived, it broadly needs its planners to: - Lay down the objectives of the objectives of the project - Lay down the strategies, to achieve the objectives - Communicate these objectives to the staff - Break down the strategies into work activities - Assign members who would work on each of the activities - Decide the activities that will need outsourcing, and account for them - Assign timelines to each of the activities - Assign performance indicators/measurables to each of the activities - Estimate the cost of each activity, and thus the cost of the total project - Take into account the contingencies - Lastly,
It can be said that by means of organisation’s competitive strategy, it can achieve an upper hand in the business market over its rivals. The same is applied to the airline industry as well. The companies like Lufthansa and Emirates Airways also have their own corporate and competitive strategies. I agree with the assertion that in the context of Sustainable Development ‘the reality of life today is that the economy dominates environment and society. The Concept of Sustainable Development Sustainable development refers to “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs”, and was produced by the Brundtland report (WCED, 1987). The concept also takes into account the needs of the poor in developing countries by outlining achievable objectives of importance (WCED, 1987).
In the recent years more and more companies in the retail and food industry are concerned about the environmental consequences of their action and also the social ethics for the people involved in the production process. This is a shift from the philanthropic actions companies used to take in 1970’s and by following basic international standards to a ‘business case’ perspective of CSR (Customer Social Responsibility). According to the World Business Council for Sustainability Develpoment ( WBCSD) CSR is: ‘’ the commitment of business to contribute to sustainable economic development, working with employees, theirfamilies, the local community and society at large to improve their quality of life’’ (World Bank, 2002)
I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
Sustainable development is a model that aims to link the idea of what is to be sustained, with what is to be developed, and focuses on three pillars, economics, social and environmental (Kates, Parris, and Leiserowitz, 2005; pp. 3). As a holistic approach it seeks to develop the three pillars, on a local, regional and global level. This paper will analyse the concept of sustainable development and the strengths and weaknesses of this approach will be discussed. Firstly, a background of this model will be presented, which will explore the three pillars. Secondly, the strengths and weaknesses will be evaluated, and lastly, a brief contrast will be provided of the opinions of sustainable development between the Global North and Global South.
P In addition, if you go skating or cycling try to show example to everyone, why not we be the leaders. P Did you know it is actually illegal to ride a bike without a helmet if you are court then you might have a fine of $185. There are many foundations out there, but one I like the best is The Amy Gillett Foundation. It is a national organization with a mission to reduce the serious injury and death of bike riders in Australia.
Kahn’s (1995) approach to the sustainable development theory is consistent with the modern day development techniques of Europe 2020 priorities; smart growth, sustainable growth and inclusive growth. The adoption of some innovative strategies such as the utilisation of renewable energy as an integral part of the energy mix could result in growth of the economy, which will eventually trickle down to the poor or extend to the rural or disadvantaged areas of the country. The social sustainability generally explains the idea of equity among the people, empowerment, participation, accessibility and institutional stability. It seeks to ensure a good standard of living in the country by alleviating poverty. Environmental sustainability seeks to explain the ways in which exploitation and utilisation of the natural resources will not be made to negatively affect the environment or the health of human beings (Kahn 1995).
