Ion exchange (India) limited is leading water treatment in India. The company head quartering Mumbai & have wide network in India & abroad. The product is marketed through regional office & branch office in major city of India. Manufacturing units are located in Ankleshwar, Patancheru, Hosur, Rabale & goa.
The product of the company includes ion exchange resins & related products, water treatment & waste water treatment plants, boiler & cooling water treatment chemicals, membranes, polymers & zero-b household products etc.
The company is mainly catering goods & services to petrochemical, power projects, fertilizers pharma , textile, water

Ion Exchange also provides its Zero B drinking water purifiers, free or at subsidised cost, to schools and educational institutions that cater to the lower economic strata. A training and employment initiative was the diploma course in water treatment operation, established in collaboration with the Babasaheb Ambedkar College, to provide practical theoretical training and employment to the students. The organic herbal crop protectors developed by Ion Exchange Enviro Farms are yielding tremendous benefits to farmers and crops from the hazards of chemical pesticides. Types of packing material used are based on protection required for preserving the quality of product. Packing / measuring / closing / sealing / labeling / Marketing of product is done as per the document procedures.
Production in-charge is responsible for packing of crude, finished products in drums, bags & pharma products in drums.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT OF RAW MATERIAL
In ion exchange raw material is manage through ABC analysis & VED analysis. The main aim of the company to reduce the cost of inventory & also takes care that production is not stop so that can supply the finish goods to their customers. They can take right control over “A” type of item & less control over “C” kind of items
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT OF FINISH GOODS
In ion exchange they produce according to requirement of customer .so inventory of finished goods is very less & store department manage the inventory. There is insurance of finished goods & raw material
