Some jobs won’t even take you if you have one year. You have to have a college education. Think about if you were sick, your doctor would be a college graduate. If you were sued, your lawyer would be a college graduate. Your whole life is pretty much based on school and work.
You don't have to know right away, but don't miss out on the value that college can bring you. In the article "Actually, College Is Very Much Worth It" by Andrew J. Rotherham, the author states,"College graduates are also more likely to be in jobs with better benefits, further widening the divide" (Rotherham 80). Having a better job and a better salary is good in many ways as to being able to pay for more like a car, house, and maybe kids. Money is a struggle for a lot of people and if you go to college you get an advantage to getting more money.
In conclusion, even though some people disagree that college is worth it, I think that college is worth it if you are willing to put the effort into it and not just horse around than you should go and put in that tuition but if you’re there to horse around and you’re just there for the parties than don’t put in that tuition. College is worth it because people with a diploma that are not going to college won’t be able to experience amazing social gatherings than people with a degree, and that people with a diploma make less money than people with a
Many people think that it is just an extra burden on them by paying high college feeses. If you are willing to secure a good degree then it is obvious that you have to join a good college with a better reputation but at this point, many people fail to take admission in good colleges due to the hurdle of money. Many people think about going to college as pretty normal and plan for it without much of a second thought. A good College gives you a surety of a better future. The college cost varies according to the courses so one should keep in mind that what course is he willing to do?
Some might say, “Is a college degree really worth it?” The answer to that question would be yes, and it turns out Larry Gordon, a contact reporter, agrees as well when he said: “No one questions that college can be a life-changing experience intellectually and socially.” But, pushing aside all of the lifelong friends you’ll make, and the career path you’ll soon find once attending, having a college degree can also be a statement. Some jobs don’t require a degree, but most well-paying jobs
Although college is stressful and time consuming , having your dream career, is a huge life achievement. Having a job isn’t the same as having a career “I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as 'making a life”(Maya Angelou). If you sell yourself short by not going to college you’ll end up working just to make ends means not because it's what you enjoy doing, it's due to your family counting on it. Those who go to college will end up having a better future than those who don’t. I agree that going to college is more beneficial because my view on the topic states that in order to have a secure and clear future you must go to college.
Getting ready for college is hard for some people because they don’t have enough money for college. Also, all their hard work for entering college has gone to a waste since they don’t have enough money. College education should be free because it could give students the life that they want, it could also help students concentrate on their studies, and lastly some people can’t afford the money. Generally speaking, college education should be free. College education should be priceless because it could give students the life that they want.
Trying to go to college with no financial support is difficult; therefore, I agree with the government in making two years of college free for all students. Although many students attend college, most can’t afford the cost of obtaining the degree. The students who make it through college are left with the progressive debt they’ve built, due to student loans; therefore, the government granting students two years of free college will, in turn, decrease the amount of debt accumulated by students from student loans, allow students an adequate amount of time to determine what occupational field is desired, and level the playing field in the labor force for students who wouldn’t normally be able to afford college; therefore, they have no degree to
It’s hard to even think about that seeing as not going to college is often seen as lazy and irresponsible, but should it be seen that way? Is college really worth it? A college education can be very valuable and useful, I will not even try to deny that, but a lot of jobs don’t require a college education. For example, I have heard a lot of my friends saying that they want to become photographers.
I mean a primary and secondary education was free, so why isn’t a post-secondary education?
Though, you might not be able to make much more per hour, than say an employee with a high school education. But, college allows you to get the job before the applicant without the degree does. To me, a job is better than no job, and I view college as job
Do you plan on going to college? Should college be free? Right now, colleges are having people pay a lot of money to there, and others don’t have to pay a cent to go there because of scholarships. Whether it sports or projects that have gotten people scholarships; others have to pay. If it was free, people wouldn’t worry about paying, students would work harder to get accepted into big schools, and it would give people in a lower class have more opportunities.
In the article it talks about how college does not prepare you for work life but college teaches how to do a specific job. I agree with Harbowski statement because in today’s world of work many companies require you to have a degree, whether it is a bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree. It is true that not all jobs require you to have a degree but, the jobs that do not require a college degree are also the jobs that are more likely to lay those off who do not have a college but do obtain a high school diploma. Others may say that you can make a good living working at job with only a high school diploma. Although, that may be true studies have also shown that you have to work harder than others to get to that comfortable living place and college graduates are much more likely to be employed and earn more than those with a high school diploma.
EA #2 College Will Take You There For some people, a college education is not viewed as optional, while for others it is nothing but irrelevant. The idea of spending at least two years to earn a post high school degree, may be viewed as a futile obstacle standing in the way of one’s dreams. It is a testing journey, and an expensive road, but it will pay off.
Some might say that college is a wastes of time and it doesn’t help anyone. Then try convince us that we should focus on our works skills and experience than wasting precious time on college.
