Is JJ Watt The Best Defensive Player In Our Time? Some people say Richard Sherman, Clay Matthews, Josh Norman, Von Miller are the best defensive players in the NFL but I think that JJ Watt is the best Defensive Player in the NFL. The reasons why I think this is because first reason he had 21.5 sacks in just 1 year which would be 2012 and would make him number 8 for most sacks, He had 74.5 sacks in his whole career, and last of all he had 1 interception and ran it for a 80 yard touchdown. So here let's compare him to some of the other amazing defensive players. If we compare JJ Watt to Clay Matthews first how many sacks did each of them get is the 2015 season. Clay Matthews only had 6.5 where JJ Watt had 17.5 sacks. Now let's check how many tackles all the players that I listed in the beginning have compared to JJ Watt. Richard Sherman had 33 tackles, Clay Matthews had 66 tackles, Josh Norman had 48 tackles, Von Miller had 30 , and JJ Watt had 76. As you can see JJ Watt had more tackles than all of them but Clay Matthews is a close second. …show more content…
Now let's talk about JJ Watts 2014 season where he did his best and put on a show for everyone. In 2014 he had 78 tackles which was more than his 2015 season only by 2 tackles and he also had 20.5 sacks which is a lot of sacks in just one season and also in just 2014 alone he got an interception that allof a sudden turned into an 80 yard touchdown which was probably one of the most amazing things in his season so far. He has only been in the NFL for 5 years and he has been rewarded with best defensive player of the year twice which is pretty amazing if you ask me. He also looked up to Reggie White who is another amazing defensive player and he was on the Green Bay
Once listed as one of the top 100 players in the NFL, and rated in the top ten in his position in many categories, Ferguson 's performance has deteriorated somewhat over the last few seasons. Part of it is his age. Ferguson is now 31 years old which is middle-aged for an NFL lineman. Some have questioned his ability to continue with the Jets given his age, slowing skills and the size of his salary cap value. He was loved by coach Rex Ryan, but Ryan is no longer the coach.
Senior quarterback Campbell Summerfield (Sandy, Ore.) completed 25 of 44 passes for 309 yards with two touchdowns. One of the touchdowns was a 73-yard strike to freshman Kobe Williams (Las Vegas, Nev.) that tied the game at 14 early in the second quarter. Williams finished the night with nine receptions for 145 yards and a touchdown. The 145 yards receiving by Williams are the most by a Boxer receiver since Nathan Suyematsu had 130 yards in the contest against
Although he was unable to reproduce a season similar to his spectacular 27 TD - 2 INT run, he seemed to fit decently well with the surrounding pieces, despite his lack of exceptional speed. Evidently,
The Bucs were reportedly happy in giving the former Nebraska standout the compensation that he deserves after playing three outstanding seasons at Tampa Bay. David collected 430 tackles, 10.0 sacks, 19 passes defended, and 6 interceptions in just three short years, giving him the right for the no. 56 spot in this years’ Top 100 Players in the NFL.

With a stalemate between negotiations with the Chicago Bears and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, some fans already perceive 2016 will be the last year for Jeffery in a Bears uniform. This statement couldn’t be further from the truth. A failure to reach an agreement doesn’t necessarily mean both sides no longer have an interest in one another. It simply shows that the Bears general manager, Ryan Pace, is wise with his money and Jeffery has a lot he needs to prove.

Greg Maddux, was he the best pitcher of his generation? Greg Maddux off the baseball diamond may look like a high school history teacher to some, but it was his work on the mound that earned him the nickname the professor. While Greg Maddux may not exactly fit what some say the best pitcher in baseball is supposed to look like it’s his statistics that say for the better part of his career he was. We’ve all been outmatched at some point in our lives; for some it was mentally, and for others it was physically. Greg Maddux is no exception to this because unlike Randy Johnson who was 6 foot 10 inches tall and left handed or Roger Clemens who was 6 foot 4 inches tall and weighed around 250 pounds Greg was physically outmatched everyday when he showed up to the ballpark.

He was awarded the prestigious honor of Player of the Year and also set a new record in the league with 23 total touchdowns. In the following season, in 1988, he helped lead the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl.
Tom Brady also broke Joe Montana 's record of 400 touchdown passes. Another memorable achievement, is the two AFC MVP awards that he won. With these, and many more, it 's safe to say that Tom Brady has more achievements under his belt, than humanly
