Blame Paper In The Tragedy Romeo and Juliet there are many people you could blame for the death of the two star crossed lovers. Some people might think it is even the lovers fault for their own deaths. I blame the Friar for the lovers deaths because he gave Juliet the potion which caused the lovers deaths. Even though Romeo and Juliet ran into the marriage not thinking they could have ran off together and avoided the problems that would go along with it. In the story The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare The Friar makes some pretty pour choices which ultimately led to most of the deaths in the story. The reasons why I think the Friar cause most of this is because one, The guy faked Juliet's death without informing Romeo beforehand he sent it after Juliet had drank the potion and the wedding date changed. Secondly, he married Romeo and Juliet in secrecy, but neither family gave him consent to do so.
