Nicolaus Copernicus was an extremely famous and important scientist, astronomer, mathematician, religious figure, and scholar during the 1500’s. He helped shape many of the theories and ideas about the universe that are prevalent in society today. His accomplishments were and still are considered infamous, and although not commonly accepted by people during his lifetime, his development of the heliocentric model of the universe is what we all currently believe to be true. Without his hard work and perseverance on his research, our views of our universe would be very different, and possibly quite incorrect, today.

Newton began to think of physics and behavior of many things around him. His curiosity and desire to answer his questions of "why" are the reason that Newton remains a leader in the world of science. Newton participated in the Scientific Revolution from 1550-1700 and this is where he made most of his discoveries and obtained most of his leadership qualities. When the important discovery of the famous Laws of Gravity and Laws of Motion, known as the laws that govern us, were discovered by Newton, his ideas brought to the world changed the way everyone saw the world with the new discoveries of laws of motion gravity, laws of motion, calculus, the way planets work, the discovery of how rainbows are created, all these innovations set the base for present day science and math.
Newton is famous for many things, such as being the first to theorize about gravity after an apple fell on his head. Another one of his famous works includes theorizing and publishing his 3 laws of motion. These laws were first theorized by Newton in 1666, then formally published in his book Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis. The three laws are: objects will stay at rest or be moving unless acted upon by an unbalanced force, acceleration depends on an object’s mass and the force acted upon the object, and if one object exerts a force on another object then the second object exerts a force of equal strength in the opposite direction on the first object.
Isaac Monroe Cline was born October 13, 1861. He was an outstanding meteorologist who worked for the Weather Bureau or now known as the National Weather Service. He grew up in Tennessee with his two parents, Mary and John and his brother Joseph. He attended Hiwassee college. His first real job was as a priest. He started getting into meteorology then went to Fort Myers to study it. He was assigned to Little Rock, Arkansas and predicted the weather. Then he was assigned to Fort Concho and then Abilene, Texas where he met his wife Cora. In Abilene he would predict the weather and he saved people 's live when he predicted floods on the Brazos and Colorado rivers. He joined the faculty of the University of Texas Medical School. He moved to Galveston where he helped start the weather division of Galveston Texas. He was a big part of why so many people died in the 1900 hurricane of Galveston. His pregnant wife died in the hurricane and his house was pulverized. He moved to New Orleans, where his daughters went to college. He died at 8:30 August 3rd, 1955 at the age of 93, his brother died a week later.

His father had died and at the age of 3 his mother left him with his grandmother, she then ran off with her new husband but as he died as well she returned to Isaac with three new half sibling’s .Isaac was denied his mother’s attention. Isaac was taken out of school to become a farmer. He failed at being a farmer and went back to school to prepare entrance to Cambridge College. Isaac was studying optics, light and math. When a plague had hit the college, Isaac left until the plague subsided. Isaac went back to finish and graduate.

Some of his experiments were questionable, like staring at the sun or sticking a needle in his eye socket just to see what would happen, but he still managed to produce some of the most genius ideas. He went to the University of Ubingen to originally become a Lutheran minister but his deep interest in astrology made him change his views. In 1589 Kepler finished grammar and Latin school. He then attended the University of Tubingen when he was given a position to become a professor of Mathematics at Graz in 1593.
