Honestly, she said Valdosta has been such a blessing to her, even though she misses being at home more than anything. Valdosta has just been so welcoming to her, especially the Baptist Collegiate Ministries has made her feel like family and even though she may be different they have welcomed her weirdness with opened arms of love. Since she has started attending Valdosta she has begun to realize how much Valdosta can be a mission field to her as much as South Africa is to her parents. Mary’s ultimate goal is to be able to give back to others’ and make a difference in this world just like her parents. She kept the home running smoothly every day, even through times of grieving and sorrow. She kept her dog, Caesar, safe and well-cared for. Her time caring for the established home helped hone her skills not only in the homemaking area, but also mentally. She may have become an emotional wreck after being left alone by her family and fiance, but she found solace in her tasks and responsibilities. Especially important was the fact that Louisa had years to adjust to these major life changes.

Sahmaya recently started attending Colonial Trail Elementary School. During 2016 Christmas break the family moved to Henrico, VA from California (see informational note). Edna does her best to care for Sahmaya however has shows early signs of Alzheimer according to Edna 's granddaughter. Edna has signed POA over to Hania the Granddaughter in the event she cannot longer make decisions for herself. Sahmaya met the VIDES and added to the DD waiver waiting list.
On September 11, 2015 I met with Bonnie Joe Clute and Chris Mock, and delivered the “HD/W st 204 Interview Notification form.” After reading the form, they signed it and agreed to let me ask assigned questions pertaining to their family. I received their consent to interview. Bonnie and Chris are Lesbian life partners and have been a couple for 6 years. Their family consists of Bonnie’s four nieces age 7-12 and her 7 year old biological son from a previous relationship. The girls have been permanently placed in their home, and have been with them for two years.

Fred Agee was born on March 3, 1931 in Magnolia Alabama. The second oldest of six children born to Aaron E. Sr. and Rosetta Agee. His mother passed away early in his childhood and his father remarried Lula Ree Agee (née Williams) who unselfishly raised the Agee children along with two children of her own. Always a popular student and an outstanding football player, Fred graduated from Marengo County High School in (date?). In 1952, he married the love his life and his high school sweetheart, Alice Ruth Brackett, affectionately known as Baby Ruth and the young couple moved to Birmingham, Alabama and later migrated to Gary, Indiana where they raised their family.
