Ranaw: Isang Alamat is a story written by Steven P.C Fernandez where Iliganuns, Meranaos, Maguindanaons, and Higa-ununs trace their origin from the main hero, a historical figure, of the said play. A musical narration of the play had captured audience 's attention which I found very interesting. In a respected tribe there was once a ruler who hunts for food for his tribe in the jungle and suddenly heard a cry of an infant and by following the voice in his path he found the baby covered in a cloth. He brought it home and treated it as it was as his own son. The infant was named "Bato Lakungan" and widely known as "Bato". He was raised well, dressed well and grew up as a brave and strong man carrying all the wisdom, knowledge and skills taught by his parents and his environment. He was kind yet tough as rock where evil can hardly defeat him. Unfortunately he was accused for a crime where his innocence is clearly flowing in his conscience. He was imprisoned in the cave where he found the four enchanted weapons. He returned in the village and cleared his name and forced himself to abandon the place and another journey of his life starts.

He was portrayed by town the as an evil monster who has done so many horrible things. In reality, all of the horrible things were just made up stories that the children had heard. He never hurt anyone, despite all of the stories. The only horrible thing he did was kill Bob Ewell but he had extreme good intentions.
He recovered but had to persevere through losing his equipment by a deadly twister.
All had seen his cowardly act, and he was thrown from his pedestal of pride. As a punishment by the authorities, he was condemned to the lowest rank, were he cleaned latrines and chopped firewood all day. He no longer was able to carry a musket in combat, but was instead to be a powder boy. Soon, the war was almost over.
In his attempt to discover his purpose in life he had to go against his entire community, lose his wife, and even violate the rules he had followed his entire life. This proves that once he faced difficult situations he was capable of fighting for his true character without allowing others to decide for
Khan not wrote the words, but also shaped and adapted these characters into capitaver performers. The theme of the play shows the struggles of what it was like living as a negro ball player in that time period. Not just that, but the performers and set designs
He was then caught and brought back to Carpophorus. The depositors then begged for his life thinking that he didn 't lose the money but he just stole the money and hid it. The depositors were wrong, he didn 't steal the money, the bank just went bankrupt. In result of being caught he was then sent to the Tin Mines.
First of all, he had a copper axe. It was thought that copper smelting first happened 1000 years later, so chances are he was in a high position of power by owning a copper axe. He went up the mountain, maybe to enjoy the view, or, since he was in a high position of power, he may have gone up the mountain to do something spiritual. Then he went back down the mountain, and there someone attacked him, because they wanted his high position of power. He was chased back up the mountain, and once he thought he was safe, he settled and started making gear ( his unfinished arrows, his bow, etc.)
The one mistake that exposed him as a flawed character is his tendency to stray from his destiny and his abandonment of Dido at Jupiter’s request. His hesitance to abandon Dido and the fear of Jupiter’s wrath makes him weak, as “he yearns to be gone, to desert this land he loves, thunderstruck by the warnings” (348-349). If he were to exist in the warrior culture, he would be viewed
He tries to forgive himself but he cannot, no matter how hard he tries. The heroic characteristics as well as the flaw leads him to be a tragic hero. On top of his road to self discovery he must deal with the ever declining social structure of the town. He tries to stand out as an honest resistor to the hangings, which ultimately leads to his
First of all, he was confident, energetic, and kind. Even though he was kind and confident, he was also brutal, strong and an excellent swordsman. He was a good and affectionate man to his daughters, but had no mercy for those who were his enemies. It has been known that
However, he is still a virtuous hero who possesses admirable great courage and intelligence. In addition, his melancholy and madness increase the complexity level of his character.
