Jackson Gardner had all the happiness he could ever ask for, or so he thought. Jackson grew up in a small town in Montana. His parents were the kindest folk in town, and Jackson was glad to have them. They were the most pleasant family for miles around, and had many fun tales to tell. One morning, Jackson and his family went on a trip to visit some old friends. They were singing and dancing in the car to make the time fly. When all of a sudden, they hear a loud noise. It took long enough, but at the very end, he recognized two of the most wonderful faces… his parents! He ran over and couldn’t help but burst into tears. The faces he longed to see for what what seemed like forever were right in front of him. He had never been so happy about anything before. His family was safe! The happy moment ended quickly because he realized they were still locked and out of his reach. He and Laura looked around for some sort of key, but found nothing. Then, they heard footsteps. Jackson and Laura were in their uniform, but had taken off their masks. They had no time to find them, so they hid. A Hunter walked in, pulled something out of his pocket, set it on a box, and walked out. Jackson walked over, and found a pair of keys laying on a

It was here, in the land of the free, that the Jacksons continued to live in poverty. As a young child, his knowledge of the woods bought him a part in the Revolutionary War. Unknowingly but luckily, the house’s owner had heard me speak of my transgressions in the woods. Before entering the welcoming couple’s home, I recognized myself as a fugitive slave to not put them in harm’s way. They listened and grieved over my personal stories until morning came.
