Hello. I have a concern in regards to an ongoing situation that includes a specific incident today. Today on the playground during lunch recess Jacoby was pushed and his face hit something, sounds like it may have been another boy's head. Jacoby's cheekbone is bruised up and so is around the top of his left eye's orbital bone. Over the course of the last several months, Jacoby has come home saying he has been pushed during "tag" or other play on the playground. Several times he has come home with mud all over him. (I mention this to show he is being pushed to the ground, not because I care about the dirty clothes.) Every time he lists the boys that are "playing," there is one boy that is always mentioned. The same boy has been stated …show more content…
Several of the other boys playing in the various groups when this boy is mentioned, have befriended Jacoby and I do not want him to feel like he cannot play with those boys. I also do not think Jacoby can rationalize if this boy is intentionally being mean or just playing too rough. I have not emailed about this before for several reasons: I've been trying to get Jacoby to handle it and stick up for himself, I'm not there; I do not know how rough he is bring during this type of "play," I do not want him labeled the tattletail, things like that. He is going to be going to school with these same peers for many years, what he does or does not do now will set a precedent, so I've tried to stay out of it. However, it seems as if the boys are being allowed physical contact too often at lunch recess. I've decided to email today because one part of this that sits unease for me is that he says that told an adult that is outside with them and "doesn't remember what she said back" but it does sound like his eye was not looked at. It sounds like the person directed her response more at saying something to the other boys (she did not make them sit out) over looking at his eye. This response resulted in the boys not letting Jacoby play with them the rest of the time. I know you were out today, but whatever adults saw him after this, substitute, specials, hallway, etc, did not think to ask him if he needed some ice or anything?

Why are there no student accounts for Joseph's incident? 3. On 10/16/15 at Texarkana Special Education Center I attempted to interview Nolan W. while he was sitting on the rug waiting to go to the table to prepare for snack time. Nolan is two years old and when asked what happened he would say "boo boo" and point to his chin. I asked where and he said "fall down boo boo" while pointing to his chin. I asked Nolan if I could take a picture of him. I took a picture of Nolan's face and then one of his chin.

This civil action was heard by Justice Diane M. Lahaie of the Ontario Court of Justice. The appellant Mr. Maclsaac is appealing his conviction of one count of aggravated assault on the basis that he did not receive a fair trial due to the trials judge speculative reasoning involved in achieving her verdict. The incident in question stems from a collision between the appellant and the complainant in a “no-contact” Ottawa senior men’s hockey league. The incident occurred at the end stages of the game, where the complainant, and the appellant collided causing the complainant lacerations to the face, two missing front teeth, and a concussion.
If a child or young person alleges harm or abuse, it is important to be aware of the school procedures to be followed for reporting concerns about that particular child. Teacher should also know how to respond if a child discloses anything serious to them. • Listen carefully- If a child talks to me about a concern, or if the child tells me about their abuse I will listen carefully and compassionately to what they tell me. • Stay Calm-It is important to stay calm and not show any extreme reaction to what the child is saying.
Another incident was reported that the male student choked a teacher until she could not breathe. A few more examples include him cursing staff out and trying to whip classmates with his belt. These are a few behaviors that were reported to administrators
Bullying is an undesirable, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves actual disparity of power.
