Jeffery Dahmer was an American serial killer in the 80s Dahmer killed 17 young men over the course of 13 years. Lindsey's skull was one of the many found in Dahmer's apartment after he was caught.Evidence shows that “Dahmer picked him up, took him home, drugged him, dismembered his body and kept his skull,"(Miller).Another victim was Tony Hughes who Dahmer met at a gay bar. Dahmer and Hughes actually developed a relationship, but Dahmer murdered him when the relationship became too difficult. After taking him back to his apartment for sex, he drugged Miller and slit his throat, then he took photos of the body. Dahmer put Miller’s biceps in the freezer so he could eat them later, and bleached the bones. On September 24, Dahmer met David Thomas and offered him money if he would come back to the apartment with him. This time, Dahmer killed his victim, but he did not have sex with him. He did, however photograph the dismemberment process.
On the night of July 22, 1991, Milwaukee enforcement officers took notice of a man running and stumbling down the street. When confronted, he said that a man had threatened him with a butcher’s knife. After arriving at Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment, Dahmer allowed the police to search the apartment. When the officials entered, they were hit with a putrid odor and had discovered various body parts scattered about his apartment that belonged to 11 of his victims, as well as Polaroid pictures of his victims' post-mortem in indecent poses. Dahmer was arrested on sight and taken into custody (“Serial Killers”).
The man's name was Steven Hicks, a hitchhiker on his way to a concert. Dahmer didn't seem to have a plan to kill him but he did. He lurid Hicks into his home and talked and drank and listened to music. By the end of the night Hicks wanted and needed to leave, Dahmer was not happy when Hicks began to leave. He acted quickly and struck 18 year old Steven Hicks in the back of the head with a strong object.
Jeffrey Dahmer Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer and cannibal born on May 21st, 1960 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was born to loving parents and later attended the Ohio State University. He had a minor surgery at the age of 6 to take care of a double hernia which appeared to have an effect on him as he became insecure of himself. His father got a new job forcing the family to move to Ohio leading to him becoming antisocial and detached from society. He was also homosexual and had to repress it due to his parents strong catholic beliefs.
He remained this way up until his first murder, when he was only 18. His first victim was a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks. Dahmer took the young man back to his parent’s house where he proceeded to get him drunk. As soon as Hicks tried to leave, Dahmer killed him with a blow to the head from a barbell. He dismembered the body and buried it in plastic bags behind his parent’s house.
In 1989, Dahmer had a lucky escape from the law after encountering a 13-year-old Laotian boy which led him to be convicted of sexual exploitation and second-degree sexual assault. He pleaded guilty to these charges stating that the boy looked over 18. In March of 1989, while awaiting his trial, he lured, strangled, sodomized, photographed, dismembered, and disposed of an aspiring model named Anthony Spears and multiple other young boys. During his trial, he was sentenced to one year in prison, for which he would have been charged more but he promised to change and enter into rehabilitation programs. After he was released from prison, he developed routines and started to experiment with disposing of bodies using chemical means and eating the flesh and organs of his victims.
14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone was found drugged and fully naked in the street by two 17-year-old girls. They called the police in a panic. When they ended the call, Dahmer ran up to them and told them Konerak was his 19-year-old boyfriend, who had been drinking. They did not believe him. When the police showed up, they bought Dahmer's story and handed Konerak over to him.
When the cops arrived Dahmer calmly gave them a key to unlock the cuffs. Meanwhile, Edwards claimed there was a knife in the bedroom that he had been threatened with. One of the officers went into the bedroom to investigate and he not only discovered the knife, but some other chilling objects. The police discovered photos of dismembered bodies, parts of dismembered bodies, and even a human head in the refrigerator.
His trial began in January of 1992. When the trial started, Dahmer had an eight-foot bulletproof glass barrier that separated him from the entire gallery. He initially tried to plead “not guilty to the charges, but then tried to plead for insanity; though the jury decided to believe the prosecutor's claim that Dahmer was sane and completely aware of his actions and even chose to commit them. The jury found Dahmer to be guilty, but sane on all charges; he was sentenced to 15 life terms in prison for a total of 957 years. Dahmer later died in prison while doing a task with two other prisoners, one of which was Christopher Scarver, who had been diagnosed for schizophrenia and had been serving his time for murder; when the guards returned to find that Scarver crushed Dahmer’s skull and fatally assaulted the other prisoner with a metal bar taken from the weight
That’s not even the worst they also found a head in the refrigerator and 3 more in a freezer. Dahmer also had jars that contained preserved skulls and genitalia. Dahmer’s first murder was just after his high school graduation. He picked up a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks and took him to his parent’s house. He tried all sorts of techniques, such as drilling holes into their skull and injecting hydrochloric acid or boiling water into their brains. A couple of weeks into this his neighbors started complaining about the smells and weird noises coming from his room. One neighbor named Glenda Clevland had a big role in Dahmer’s story. One night 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone escaped from Dahmer’s apartment naked and barely able to walk/talk. Glenda’s niece called the police and tried to get him to help, but Dahmer showed up and said that Sinthasomphone was his boyfriend.
After subduing Hicks, Dahmer strangled him with the bar of the dumbbell. He later fulfilled fantasies with Hicks’ remains. The next day, Dahmer dissected Stevens' body. Later on he buried the remains in his backyard, only to dig them up several weeks later. He dissolved the remains in acid and then crushed the bones with a sledgehammer.

Jeffrey Dahmer was caught because one of his victims had escaped, when the victim left the apartment he then found a police officer and told him what happened. Dahmer agreed to get the key for the handcuffs he had put on his victim.. When the officer walked into Dahmer 's bedroom with him he saw pictures every where of parts of the human body and a refrigerator full of human skulls. That 's when they decided to go ahead and put Dahmer under arrest. The police quickly began a search on the apartment.
