Weinberger met the unsub at a bar called Carol’s speakeasy in Chicago. They struck up a friendship, and Weinberger boarded a Greyhound bus with the perpetrator to Milwaukee. He stayed at the apartment for the night, and asked the offender if he could leave. The man persuaded Weinberger to stay for one more drink, which he put drugs in. After Weinberger lost consciousness, the man drilled a hole in Weinbergers skull, and injected boiling water into his brain. Weinberger woke up, groggy but still alive. This forced the man to put drugged liquor into him, and then gave Weinberger another injection of boiling water. This sent Jeremiah into a coma. The next day, the unsub left for work and when he returned, Weinberger was dead. He was the only victim who died with their eyes open. The killer than disposed of Jeremiah using acid and a plastic bin. This shows the offender has a behavior that is cruel and aggressive, and probably didn’t care about the fact that he killed someone. The victim was the opposite, he was likeable and easy going, and the unsub saw this as an opportunity to get a victim with …show more content…
After the unsub killed Weinberger by strangling and lobotomizing him, he got rid of the body by dumping it into a barrel full of acid he most likely kept somewhere near his residence or where he worked, and probably bought at a hardware store without raising suspicion. Before he did this, however, he spent time with the deceased victim and performed necrophilia and most likely took polaroids of the dismembered body so he would be able to remember what he did with the body. After he disposed of the body by putting it into a gallon barrel of acid, the unsub most likely went on with his day, probably not feeling bad about the crime he just

At the moment, there isn’t any evidence proving that he is not guilty, so let’s shed some light on this situation and get some background on what happened.
