The movie applies several key sociological terms to present the character traits and plots in the right manner. The most common concepts in the animated film include social constructivism, realism, structure, sociology, agency, Katz, Rosenham, Marx, symbolic interactionism, and Pager. The tools are essential in breaking down the plot into significant assets in the film. The essay will include definition and description of the terms and application of such concepts in Zootopia Film. Social constructivism theory indicates that for cognitive development in human mind, which involves emotions and acquisition of knowledge, there must be interaction with others in the process. It means that children experience a stage wise development before they attain the right attitude to deal with external forces that unfolding during the interaction process. Elders in the community act as guardians to the young generation; hence, provide the necessary advices for a better result. In the film, Judy Hopps illustrates at the beginning that the ancestral land presented to them was necessary for development and interaction between animals from different places. The situation is common in diverse communities, in particular for juniors at high school level. Commonly, teenagers join antagonistic groups that replicate gangsters in the society such so that they intimidate their counterparts. In Zootopia, Gideon Grey and his company give the bad characters, especially when dealing with other individuals who are younger than them. For instance, he bullies Judy’s friends by taking their tickets, which leads to a fight with her to prove his superiority.
