This shows that he was shown what his family believed he would end up in, but did not mention anything. This is because, although the narrator was mean to him at the loft, Doodle still loved him and wanted to stay by his side regardless. Straight from the heart is a wonderful, but depressing passage narrated by a journalist named Tim Collins. The passage is about the tragic speech spoken by Marie Fatayi- Williams and the terroristic incident that lead to the possible killing of her son Anthony Fatayi- Williams. Marie’s speech is fueled by a couple different topics, which in their entirety explain how she feels about the loss of her son to be a traumatic event. These topics make the speech very powerful and meaningful to the audience according to Collins. The narration is primarily to explain why Marias speech is so powerful and why it inspired and touched so many people’s hearts, while Marie defies the pointlessness of terroristic acts followed by the tragedy.

For example, although she is consumed with worry and fear over the state of her children, Rowlandson finds immense relief when one of her captors gives her a Bible he took from a neighboring settlement. Willy Loman was a loving husband, good friend and most importantly, an amazing father. Regret fills my heart to the brim, the only thought that keeps running through my mind is what if I would’ve been there for my father. I wish the last words I spoke to my father were different and the last things I did to change my father were different. Willy’s decision to take his own life is both incomprehensible and confusing. Perhaps Willy’s priorities seemed to have shifted out of place as the years went on.
