If a person chooses the ‘least satisfied’ of the seven alternatives he gets a score of 100 and 100 points are added for each successive alternative. An individual gets 700 if he chooses “most satisfied” alternative for each item. The average of the four items is the satisfaction index. There are four areas including both on the job and off the job factors. Each area includes 20 items some of which are given below:
